I have a diagnosis that has changed my priorities and my available time & energy so I am slow moving. Today if nothing else gets done I will try to finish The McCall Blue Book of Patterns June 1922. Tomorrow is an all Ivan day. Thursday I may start on another Album listing. Friday through Monday August 5th are all Ivan & Family and home maintenance ( my least favorite being the home maintenance, although I have to say there is joy in doing chores these days). Be blessed and be a blessing

Taking a really nice 1952 McCall Counter Dressmaking Catalogue to Goodwill this weekend as well as 3 or 4 1930s Needle arts/Transfers Catalogs. I am anticipating getting 2 or 3 album (1 item per album) listings during this upcoming next week; One of which is a no color B&W but pretty darn nice March 1916 Complete Catalogue of McCall Patterns. All new items will have in the title I have literally moved mountains of "stuff" to get to this point.
I am having issues with having to work on my Windows 7 Laptop and there is no way to get the last decent Windows system online and I had to use a thumb drive to load these pictures on here as the useless Windows11is only useful to access online period. The pictures are of some drops of items to local Goodwills. I can't begin to estimate the timing for the picture folders of offerings her. Probably at least 2-3 weeks. I was flumoxed when I found out how much this newer laptop is just nothing short of useless :-(
A couple of weeks back I took some items to the Goodwill in Rocky Mount and I have a few pictures of the first load and the 2nd to the 220 Goodwill. I can see right now adding items in folders here is going to be a monstrous task since the laptop (Windows 11) I have to use to get online is useless except for access to online. I had to use a thumb drive to load these pictures and cannot even save them on this junk HP laptop with junk programing There will be updates and hopefully some folder listings here (Catalogs, dressmaking publications Women's Institute and a lot more as soon as I can conquer the room I need and overcome the barriers in getting it on here. I have an upcoming vacation with my forever child that is pushing adding folders here out by an additional week as well. See the pictures of of the items that I hope get re-homed
RARE 1929 Fashionable Dress Pattern #7685 $50
It is going to be laborious, but I will be mostly adding patterns and publications here as well as on DZines72s Passion 4 Fashion which I am hoping to put large lots of antique magazines. This is updated as of 2/26/2024 I have had and sold one other Fashionable Dress pattern issued by Fashionable Dress Publishing Co which had a magazine as well. I have never seen any others and both were from the 1920s which as much as I have ever been able to find out is the only decade the Magazine publication existed. This dress is a slim fitting flounce bottomed 36” bust 31” waist & 39” hip. The envelope is wrinkled and intact with the front & back shown in the first and 3rd pix with the 2nd showing the directions and cutting lay out. (NOT for the novice seamstress) The 6 pattern pieces appear unused but are not what I call factory folded and I am storing them separately in an envelope and have put a rectangle cardstock cut out in the paper envelope They (pattern pieces)are shown in the 4th and 5th pix Some 1920s Fashionable Dress Magazine covers and 1 interior page are pix 6-9. I also had at least one of those that I remember selling as well.

Other than a school stamp and name on the front cover of this rare and SO fun issue of Hats this mag is in good complete condition. Other than the tri-tone covers (2nd picture) and a fold out color ad for avant-garde accessories shown in the 1st and last picture this magazine is in B&W. All of my listings here on Craigslist have DZines72 in the title. I can meet up at the Boones Mill Post Office, Salem Public library, and the Roanoke County Library on Merriman. This will also be on my page https://www.facebook.com/DZines72/
I am fighting another abusive platform (Meta). This post was well over an hour trying to get a different version to post. I am praying this time I can get this to post. Artificial intelligence is an oxymoron which is why everything I will be listing here will be on the Roanoke Virginia Craigslist as well with DZines72 in the title of everything I have to re-home. I have a lot of publications from my collections over decades. These 3 are going to be among the first batch and keep in mind my priorities are my forever child and and helping his brother out with my grandson's care. There is a link to my Youtube channel illustrating why Nana yawns so much :P I chuckle every time I watch it :P Feel free always to say hey on my personal page Debby Zamorski and I will also put items on a Vintage pattern groups page as well. Time to cook dinner !
I am close to having items here and there is a reason that it takes me a while other than the new and totally obnoxious Meta Facebook takeover (which means really awful because FB is pretty yucky!) This is the reason this forever child Mom, caregiver, advocate, chief dishwasher, cook et all has a hard time making headway with this endeavor. Meet my new grandson spending the night :P
1:30 AM Dec 9th This is why Nana yawns all the time We laugh a lot at this house and are thankful for the reason why!
