Dyersburg / Dyer County Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer will be observed in Dyer County with two events on Thursday, May 5:

MAYORS' PRAYER BREAKFAST in Dyresburg at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 6:30 am. $3 at the door.

PRAYER ON THE SQUARE at the County Courthouse at Noon when we will surround the courthouse -- and our community -- in prayer.

National Day of Prayer to be observed locally Thursday Residents of Dyer County are invited to join together, in person and virtually, in celebration and observance of National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 6. This year marks the 70th observance nationally and 41st locally.

Do you have a prayer or a photo to share? We're looking for both PRAYERS and PHOTOS to include in this year's time of prayer to be shared on video on Thursday, May 6.

PRAYERS: Record a short prayer (60 seconds or less) on your phone. Offer whatever prayer God has placed on your heart and it may be included in our Day of Prayer.

PHOTOS: We're looking for some good photos of Dyersburg, Dyer County, and our community to include in our video. (If you send a photo with people in it, please be sure you have permission to share their picture with the public.)
