Jonathan Cotton, Voice Actor
I’m a voice actor living and working in Los Angeles.
I have recorded commercials, animated characters, audio dramas, documentaries, video games, and explainer videos for some of the biggest and most well-known brands in the world!
It's official! I'm an Octonaut! Captain Barnacles, to be specific 🙂
A beautiful retelling of Kin David's life, based on the biblical account. I'm honored to have been chosen to narrate this for Pray.com.
It’s funny... I’m an oldskool marketing guy, but I pull my punches when putting my own stuff on display. This has been a banner year for me as an actor. I have experienced remarkable favor, incredible casting opportunities, and mind-numbingly fantastic roles that have transcended my plans and dreams for this year. I’ve been fairly quiet while it happened. Partly because it felt like a dream bubble I didn’t want to pop. Partly because I was waiting to move some final game pieces into place.
Despite everything happening in the world around us, my Father has big plans for you and me this year. Take a moment to listen. Wait, and feel the stirring in the air. His soft, still voice. Hope, and a future. Things might feel frightening, but I believe there are good things coming.
Happy new year.
Profoundly grateful and deeply honored to have been chosen to be the Narrator for the Elevation Church Christmas Special.

Just in case you’ve ever wondered what I look like without my beard. I got to play Ronny, the gruff-but-loveable lunch lady in “Pedro the Penguin” from The American Red Cross.

Here's a new piece I lent my voice to for Words In The Air. Listen in the dark; it's got an eerie feel :)

Times are tough for Tampa Bay realtors, so a local agent created this quarantine-based video for her listing “We did all the filming practicing social distancing, and we were all wearing masks and gloves the entire time,” Christian told Creative Loafing.
Check out this hilarious Real Estate commercial. Recognize the announcer's voice? Ahem! Wink, wink!
Social distancing.
It probably comes as no surprise, but it’s been my dream since birth to leverage my voice talents for ads/audiobooks/cartoons/shows/movies etc. I’m looking for opportunities in LA, but have flown out for gigs in other locations. Please pass on my info to anyone you might know that uses talent like mine.
Just a few of the many, many voices in my head :)
