Today is a very special day. Today is the birthday of my beautiful wife. She has been on every adventure with me and continues to do so. She is by far the strongest woman I know and she truly deserves the world. She’s the best wife, friend, daughter, auntie, and sister that anyone can ask for. My only regret is that it took me so long to find you in this world. But I promise every single day to make up for that lost time, I love you so much! ❤️

I am currently providing online/Remote training. If you are a sport coach who does not have access to a full time strength coach, or just someone looking to get or stay in shape, then reach out. it is possible to have a strength program written for your athletes that meets your needs/time of season/weight room size/equipment. Or even a program based on your needs for your own personal training. I was the athletic performance coach for William Penn Men’s basketball, working with assistant coach Blake Sandquist. He is now the head basketball coach for the DMAAC Bears in Des Moines, IA. I continued to write the programs for his team as well as a preseason zoom meeting to discuss any questions and provided as in depth an experience as possible. Here’s what he has to say;

“Vinny has been tremendous to work with during my time at William Penn University and DMACC. He has an innate ability to relate with athletes from all walks of life. He’s also very good at gauging what is best for our athletes depending on the time of season and how the players are feeling. Can’t say enough great things about Vinny as a coach and ultimately as a person!”

Blake Sandquist

I currently hold a CSCS certification, as well as a USAW-L1 certification. I spent a semester gaining NCAA internship experience at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont working with all sports. That is where I obtained my undergraduate degree in exercise science with a minor in coaching. Then Spent two years working with high level athletes at Windermere Prep in Windermere, Florida. After that, I was an athletic performance graduate assistant at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Where I was working towards my master's degree in business leadership. Following that, I spent a semester in the NAIA collegiate level as the head strength and conditioning coach at Southwestern College in Winfield Kansas for all 17 men's and women's varsity sports. Currently I am the director of athletic performance at Holy Trinity Episcopal in Melbourne, Florida. I will be working with all sports as well as athletes or non-athletes.

Anyone interested, please feel free to reach out.

This is the hardest post I’ve ever had to make. My grandma was my absolute world and one of my best friends. We had so many fun adventures together. She had a huge hand in who I am as a person and man. She was my number 1 supporter when I did well, and she was my number 1 supporter when I failed. She helped me through some of the darkest times and she was the cause of some of the best times. My heart is truly hurting and will always be missing a piece. But I know she is watching me and now I will always have her with me wherever I go. I love you GMA!

Today is a very very special day! Today is the day my beautiful wife and best friend turns 27 years old. When she came to me, I was immature and lost in what I wanted to do and who I would become. She has been a beacon of light and a woman that has touched my heart in ways no one could! She is the most thoughtful and inspiring human I have ever met. She has jumped into things in my life that she did not necessarily agree with and she did it with love and support. I have never been more sure about anything in my life, this beautiful lady has saved me and molded me into the man I am today! God doesn’t make mistakes, and he truly touched perfection here! ❤️

Today was my last session as Head Strength and Conditioning at Southwestern College. I just want to first extend a huge thank you to Jamie Adams for putting her trust in me and providing me full autonomy to coach effectively. I also want to thank all of the athletics staff and faculty at the university for welcoming me with open arms and always supporting the program. Lastly, thank you to all the athletes that, from the start, gave full attention and effort to the program. I have become a better coach because of you all. Thank you Southwestern, on to the next adventure!

26 years ago today, the love of my life was put on this earth! This past year has been one of the most emotional years of my life. Extremely exciting life changing obstacles, to heartbreaking sadness/depression. Together we have grown stronger as a couple and have leaned on each other for strength. Amanda Mederos has been my rock since the day that I met her, so I don’t think a single day can suffice for celebrating how special you are! This is the last birthday that we will celebrate apart, that makes me soooo happy to say! I promise that this separation will be worth and that it won’t be permanent. Te Amo mas amandita ❤️❤️❤️! Feliz cumpleaños! ❤️
