Well, it’s with sadness I have to announce that I have to cancel the upcoming gig on July 10 for the East Moline Summer Concert Series. Due to several circumstances. One of the reasons as some people know, is that I have sold my house in Davenport and am preparing to move back to Texas. I’ve had a great time playing music here, and to all the awesome musicians, and people and places that I’ve played with, and been to, I thank you all very much for the fun times and memories! I plan on continuing my musical journey in The Lone Star State, so stay tuned! I’ll be keeping the same name and page here on Facebook. I’ll be living in this rig for awhile, so I’ll See y’all down the road! 🍀🤠🤘🎸

It is with a heavy heart that I am sharing the bad news that we, along with the Quad Cities Music scene has lost a much loved and talented musician, and all around great guy in Michael Quaintance. I really have no words, but to say I’m shocked and very saddened by this terrible news.

We, along with the management of The DEPOT feel this is the appropriate thing to do at this time. Please stay tuned, as we will be announcing a rescheduled date soon! Thanks for your support, and we look forward to playing you some classic honkytonk outlaw country music real soon! 🤠🎸🍀🇺🇸

Introducing Mike Johnson on drums and vocals!
Mike caught the musical bug at an early age. He was in the 4th grade when he decided he wanted to be a drummer, however his father, had other ideas stating "No, you're gonna play an instrument that makes music, NOT racket!" so Mike opted for playing the Trumpet, which he played througout school. Unfortunately, Mike lost his father at the early age of 13 and began saving up all his hard-earned lawn mowing money and purchased his first drum kit. He soon began jamming and playing in garage bands and was hooked! Being self taught, his influences were The Beatles, The Dave Clark 5, Grand Funk Railroad, The Doobie Brothers and Boston to name a few. Later on Mike became a big country music fan as well. Mike has since gone on to play with several local bands in the area over the years. We are certainly lucky to now have his talents and years of experience in The Persuaders!
Hey everybody, hope all is well with you! We have a couple lineup changes to announce... We're excited to welcome Mike Johnson on drums and vocals and Douglas Ganster on bass guitar!
Unfortunately, we have to cancel our March 8 appearance on The Midwest Review Show, as well as our appearance at The Living Room following. We deeply regret any inconvenience, and we look forward to rescheduling at a future date.
Can’t wait for this! Last time as a solo was a blast... now with a great band, quadruple the fun! Be sure to tune in!
Introducing Michael Quaintance, on Keys and vocals! So excited for the great dynamics and musical muscle Michael brings to the band!
Mike is a self-taught musician from Sherrard Illinois who inherited talent from his dad “Jack Quaintance”, a gifted pianist from the 1950's. Mike occasionally travels the country to play larger venues with long-time friends since retirement from Deere & Company as well as locally.
Music has always been a big part of Mike’s life be it
in support for fellow musicians, mentoring, learning from each other, comparing notes, understanding the music scene and offering support in any form. He’s also a member and supporter of the Local 67 American Federation of Musicians in the capacity of Vice President.
