I love fall camping. Some of my favorite things about fall are the warm days and cool nights, sitting by the fire pit having a smore or two and maybe even a glass of wine. What is your favorite season?

Hello Friends, have you ever wondered why I do a live on most Sunday evenings? Let me tell you a short story. In 2020 when we were all living the Covid lockdown, I was purchasing more and more Stampin Up items. I heard Karen Titus say – If your order total is $100 you should consider signing up to be a Hobby Demonstrator to get your products at a discount. Well that just made sense to me, so I signed up. 🤭
Then I reached out to my friend Dawn the conversation went something like this… hey Dawn, guess what I did a thing. Her response was pretty normal for us with a what did you do now? After telling her that I only signed up to be a hobby demonstrator for the discount and had no plans of doing any parties, she said Oh good I have been wanting to a host party let me know when you are ready. 🫣 What are you kidding me, you want me to do a video for people to watch – that is WAY outside my comfort zone!😎
The next thing I know I am doing a live on Facebook for Dawn and her friends. The party had a great response and when I said to Dawn maybe I should do this more often, she was all in. 🥳 Dawn continues to be my greatest cheerleader. Never letting me to forget we are all human and when the live doesn’t go as planned it is all ok. 😋
No one will ever see (I hope) the chaos behind the scenes of my Facebook lives, and I always hope that I seem calmer than I really am. 🤪

I always try and do something fun and new with the kids while we are camping, we will be able to bring this with each trip and see how it grows. It will have all the kids saying 'Look what we grew' from a store bought avocado seed!

It's so easy and I'm happy to share the instructions with any one that wants to give this a go! Just shout out and I'll get them to you

Here’s a laugh for your Thursday! Let me tell you about my biggest parent fail, that my beautiful daughter Amber still likes to remind me of…. Many years ago, Amber was in about the 4th grade. I always dropped the kids off at school on my way to work. So I am dropping Amber off at school she jumped out of the van, shut the door and waved good-bye to me, or so I thought. The reality is that Amber was trying to brace herself against the van so as not to slide under it on the ice when she shut her thumb in the door of the van, and wasn’t really waving good bye to me but trying to get me to stop the van and not drive off, while her thumb was still in the door. There I was waving good bye to her and she is knocking on the window and waving at me. I finally unroll the window to yell at her and tell her to get in the building. When crying she tells me her thumb is stuck.

We spent the morning in the ER instead of school and work. She lost her thumb nail inside the baby grand piano at school during the talent show. She still has damage to her thumb nail to this day.
