Disregard my time changes for drop off and pick up! I will go back to what they were!

We have run into some unexpected road blocks to putting up our fence in the back half of our property so until we can get that sorted out I will not have daycare if it will be wet/raining. My yard is a massive mud pit and now my house is. Sorry for any inconvenience but I can’t wipe off 7 dogs feet off every time they come in the house🤪

A few dates I will be closed to have some family time:

After some debate I will be changing my pricing by adding a fee to boarding and daycare dogs. As I am a small operation, I have always set myself apart by approaching boarding a little bit differently. Having my boarders in my own home rather than in our kennels constantly. But, when you have a toddler, things are a bit different. Barking dogs make it difficult for her to nap, she is at “dog level” and doesn’t even like them smelling her or following her. So because of this she wants to be carried ALL THE TIME, EVERYWHERE!! 🤦‍♀️ In addition, I’ve had too many people tell me that their dogs are potty trained and that is just not the case, unfortunately. So, for her comfort and the sake of preventing more damage in my home I will be adding a $50 fee to every boarders stay. If you, as the owner would like your dog in my home this will be paid upfront. That way, if accidents or damage occurs then I can help cover that. If you would prefer not to pay the $50 fee then your dog will be in the kennel if I can’t supervise and overnight. I still want the dogs that stay to have a family experience but it is not worth my child’s happiness or at the cost of our house getting ruined. If your dog has an uneventful stay and no damage/accidents occur then I will happily give you back the $50.

I love what I do, but it’s been difficult lately so things have to change. I hopeful that when Ella is older and we make some changes to our property I can do away with a damage fee.

Also, a daycare fee ($25) will be added to any boarding dog being picked up after 12 pm. I charge by night so if you don’t pick your dog up until afternoon/evening, that’s another day of care.

We have come to the end of our first year in Zearing and with any new place kinks have to be worked out. I hope you all understand! And if you have questions just let me know!!

It’s been a crazy summer for Strut Your Mutt!

So, I have to apologize to anyone that called me last month and got no response. If you left a voicemail, I did not get them until yesterday afternoon! I had over 20 messages out of nowhere! I deeply apologize for this very strange occurrence, and will be looking into this further. My husband said he has had some issues as well. That being said, texting me is always a good and welcome option!!

Hey everyone! Wanted to give a quick update. Some of you know that I had knee surgery Tuesday. So, If I’m not answering messages or phone calls it’s because my recovery is a bit slower than I thought😔 I hope in a few days I’ll be up and going easier than I am now. Thanks for your patience ☺️

Strut Your Mutt is moving! We have purchased a house in Zearing that is on almost half an acre and plenty of room to do my business right😁

Hey everyone! I know it’s been a long while since I’ve been open! I had a tough pregnancy and then fell victim to the Covid monster!! Also, having a newborn is proving to take time to get reacquainted to!!🤣. Alllll worth it as little Ella Clare is perfect❤️

Anyways, I’m posting to see how many of my little dog parents are interested in starting back? Unfortunately, at this point in life (with Ella) I just don’t think I would be able to take back my big dogs😢

HEY BIG DOGS!!!

Hey everyone! I’m finally feeling back to myself! Recovered from surgery and my early pregnancy sickness, yay!! I have been thinking about adding a big dog day to my week as I am missing my pups! I have a couple different days in mind. Let me know if any of you are interested!!!

As most of my clients know I am having surgery tomorrow to have my gallbladder taken out. I’m not expecting complications but surgery comes with uncertainty. So, at this point I will be closed next week and open the following week! Thank you to everyone who has been so understanding and flexible!! Love you all and all the fur babies🥰🐾🐶
