My company bought one of my Louisiana oyster pieces and donated to this years CRCL Stewardship Awards Banquet for their silent auction. I got to attend, and it was a great event. CRCL is an amazing non-profit group that promotes volunteers planting the Gulf coast and a very cool oyster recycling program from local restaurants that benefits the coast. Check out this great organization!

My latest art piece creation. Port Fourchon oysters inset into cypress tongue and groove painted paneling off old Guidry house framed in stained cypress. Message me for prices. Running low on Fourchon oysters….need to make a trip down there soon!!

Latest art piece. Used some spent brass shells that my lovely friend Bridgette supplied me for a cool take on a shadow frame with a resin pour. Photo is from a gator hunt in New Roads that I took. This was a door prize for the Men of Mercy S***t Shoot fund raiser. Great event and congrats to Mike for the art piece win.

Donated an art piece to this year’s Our Lady of Mercy Auction! Very proud of this Oyster Louisiana. Blue oyster shells came from a beach in Texas mounted on old pealing paint cypress tongue and groove that came off our family house in Lafourche parish. Mark your calendars! My friend and amazing local artist, Chase Mullen, is having a solo exhibit at the LA Arts and Science Museum on March 9, 2023! Chase is the best animal artists I have the privilege of knowing. His swamps scenes are beautiful! You must check out his work!

Newest art piece for sale. As Bob Ross would say, this was kind of a happy accident. Playing around with my plumbers torch, this piece kind of came together. Resin filled Fluer de lis inset in cypress shiplap with reclaimed wood frame. Message me for price.

Donated another art piece to this year’s Our Lady of Mercy Spring Auction this past weekend! My piece got scooped up! It was a really fun night and great to see people enjoy my art piece and all the other beautiful local artwork!

Some amazing photographs of families living inside cypress stumps at the turn of the century. I wish they would have saved a few of these monster trees so we could see how awesome they were first hand.

If you are looking for something to do tomorrow night in the Baton Rouge area, BREC is hosting their Swamp Art Soiree' at the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center from 5:30 to 7:30. It is an adult event with cocktails and art view of local artist's swamp and nature artwork as well as some very cool live animals (in cages) displayed at the nature center. Two new commissioned pieces. I found some very cool blue oysters in Texas and added to my Louisiana oysters. Really love the depth of colors that came out. Set in resin in some old cypress wood siding.
