Soul DuFunk (Ramiro Quintero) originally from Reynosa Tamaulipas Mexico has been residing in McAllen TX since 2010. His deep love for music has allowed him to grow as a DJ since 2012 & now a promoter since 2021. His style of DJing is mainly influenced by groovy bass lines and the sounds of funky and soulful rhythms. His latest project 4ever Groovin is a collective that focuses on hosting quality underground house music events in McAllen Texas. He has been in the opening lineups for DJs like Doc Martin, Franck Roger, & most recently Mark Farina. His main goal is to share the love for house music in his community to be able to grow the local scene and make McAllen a hot spot for the worldwide house music community.
