Dibble Dabble Designs
A lot of my inspiration comes from nature.
Glass can be manipulated to mimic the flow and movement of water, the trees blowing in the wind, the intricate organic design of a flower petal and too many others to name them all.
I had so much fun on Wednesday teaching a fused glass class for a 10 year old boy. It was his birthday. He is a very smart and creative young person and did an amazing job. He does blown glass ornaments every year and has done a couple of fused glass tiles in the past. He had never worked with glass powders or glass powder painting. He wanted to do a fish so I cut the bass out of clear glass on the Ta**us diamond saw and then assisted him on creating his fish. I love helping others see their vision in art become a reality. See the before and after pictures below.
I started teaching fused glass art classes earlier this year in my studio and will also teach classes at Four Seasons Gallery in Homewood. I can teach classes for groups of 10 or more at your location. Great for Birthday parties, Team building for corporate groups , wedding/bridesmaid parties, reunions, etc….
I’ll be posting new classes soon.
Please reach out if you’re interested in a class for you or your group 😉.
Been working on a new batch of flowers.
New batch of flowers are installed at Four Seasons Gallery. Drop by the Homewood Gallery and take one home for Christmas.
A couple of things I’m working on currently. I love doing large wall installations.
The blue will have approximately 25 pieces when complete. It has another firing to go to add more texture and shape. Also doing a few metal work pieces.
Stay tuned. 😉
Feeling excited, blessed and sleepy. At airport getting ready to head to Corning, NY for a week of glass classes at the Corning Museum of Glass. 😁😊
Few new things I’m working on right now.
Fresh out of the kiln this morning. Still needs to be cleaned up to a beautiful shine. Haven’t even washed it yet as I like for it to be out of the kiln a couple of hours with these type of pieces 😉
I’m thinking about naming it: “Call of the Wild”.
It reminds me of Moose antlers 😊
I Love making these large flowers. 2 new ones and one more in the kiln.
New items. I’m making lots of wreaths that will be framed. Most will be 16” x 20”.
Let me create a special wreath for you that matches your decor or special occasion. 😉
See the details below each picture for the size and cost.
Stop by my booth at the Patton Creek Art Festival. April 8th.
I hope to see everyone at the Payton Creek Art Festival.
To say I’m excited is an under statement. I’ve been working on this piece for awhile now. Had a vision of what I wanted and it kept evolving. Final piece was taken out if the kiln this morning. Now to secure everything together for the art show tomorrow. This will be available for purchase at the show. 😁. I can also create pieces in any color. This can be used as a centerpiece , can use with candle or created for lighting. This was clear Lumi Wissmach glass with nothing but glass powders for the color. Here is the results.
Been a crazy week getting ready for the Bluff Park Art show. I have LOTS of new items that I’ve been creating for the show. I hope you’ll be able to come out and see the new art and support the show. 😁
Here are a few rough shots if what’s going to be available in my booth. Getting everything packed up today.
Hope to see you tomorrow at the Hoover Met in the parking lot outside of the stadium. 9-5.
😁
Welcome to my site. Here are a few pictures of the glass art that I design and create.
Enjoy.
