*Let love and forgiveness outweigh the pain!*
And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. Genesis 45:4-5 KJV
When love and forgiveness outweigh bitterness and anger, things will always work out according to God’s plans and purposes. Joseph showed us a great example of love and forgiveness toward his brothers, who made life painful and difficult for him. He realized God had made him ruler in a foreign land so that he could save his family from famine. If Joseph had leaned toward hate and anger, the story would have changed, and his family would not have been saved.
Beloved, when you let love and forgiveness win, you allow the heavens to move according to God’s plan and purposes. Everything will work out for the good in the end (Romans 8:28) if you overcome evil with good just as Joseph did. You may not understand everything that happens in your life, but as long as you continuously trust and obey God and His Word, you will always walk in the victory of Christ Jesus! Be an overcomer!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, You are not blind to my tears and pain. I know that You have greater plans and purposes as I yield to love and forgiveness against this pain. Thank You for making all things work out for the good of all in Jesus’ name. Amen.
