We Are Celebrating Respiratory Care and Pastoral Care Week!

From October 22-38, we celebrate Respiratory Care Week. MHC respiratory therapists care for patients with breathing difficulties and chronic conditions, such as asthma or COVID-19. We’d like to recognize our respiratory care team for their incredible work. Thank you taking such wonderful care of our patients and promoting quality and safety throughout Munson Healthcare.

Pastoral Care Week, also celebrated this week, gives us an opportunity to recognize the spiritual caregivers and the important ministry they provide to patients and their families. Thank you to our chaplains, ministers, and all providers of spiritual care for their exceptional outreach. Your work helps us keep the patient at the center of all we do.

We Are Celebrating Our Pediatric Nurses and Primary Care Providers!

For many Munson Healthcare patients, their primary care physician is their first and most trusted resource. For National Primary Care Physician Week (Oct 1-7) we thank and celebrate the family and general practice providers, pediatricians, and internists who become familiar with their patient’s family histories, lifestyles, and everyday needs. From routine health exams to prescription management and specialist coordination – these providers play a critical role in caring for our patients. We are grateful for their incredible work and dedication.

This week we also celebrate Pediatric Nurses Week (Oct 2-6). Pediatric Nurses are RNs who care for children of all ages across multiple healthcare settings. Hospitalization can be scary for anyone. Pediatric nurses know how to put children at ease, while helping to heal their bodies and how to explain diagnoses and treatment to anxious parents and loved ones. Our gratitude goes out to the pediatric and PICU nurses whose hard work, compassion, and diligence work help us best care for the needs of our tiniest patients!

Our food service teammates play a significant role in the day-to-day operations of our Munson Healthcare facilities.
