You may wonder why we pull back into the syringe when giving injections in the vein. This picture explains why. We don't pull back to make sure we're in the vessel, we do it to make sure we're in the RIGHT vessel. Today I went to give an injection and pulled back and saw blood brighter than I wanted. I decided to go and get a new dose of sedation and once again pulled back and then gave my dose of sedation. The syringe on the left was my first injection and the syringe on the right was my second injection. Does anyone know why I shouldn't have injected that first syringe? And had I injected that first injection, what would have happened?

3rd ride on my boy after some time in Texas with E.N. Performance Horses in Joshua, TX. Weather has not been very cooperative plus holidays so he was a bit spiceeeeyyyy but we had a blast even in the chilly rain. So thankful for my amazing bestie who comes out and rides with us and snaps some photos for me!! Amazing work!

Two of my besties came to play today with ponies and pups. We also got to ride full siblings today! Both sired by SRR Cougarwood Blue! Brother and Sister with a pair of besties!

Just a very small drop in the bucket of the "SRR Cougarwood Blue" sired offspring on the ground competing in roping, barrels, reining, ranch work and hauling bulls in rodeo! We have every color and size, 2 dozen more not even pictured....look out 2024!

Beautiful day to get some shoes done thanks to MH Farrier Services 😉👏 we have reiners, barrels and rope horses and he sets them all up to the best of their abilities. After 50+mph winds this week and tree damage and tons of work to do, was nice to enjoy the afternoon in the sun 🌞

"Jack" made 2023 a year I'll never forget 🙏 so many friends and memories made. Blessed to have such an amazing horse to pull me into the world of rodeo 💙

"Dottie" is a work horse, I've never meant a mare that was as ready to work as her. She is a POWERHOUSE, and is business 100% of the time. She has PRO RODEO money won last year in the Great Lakes Circuit. I've had the privilege of running this mare the last month in the SEBRA's and have won on her! She will move off your leg and frame up. She is EASY, get on and go type.

Dottie knows the poles as well but will probably need a tune up, as we don't get the opportunity to run poles too much around here.

She would be great for a mom getting back into running that wants to be competitive and just needs something that does their job, someone learning how to pro rodeo, or college rodeo. This mare is the real deal and will be sold as such, NO SMALL CHILDREN, as much as she loves my daughter, I'm not confident a small child can handle her heading up the alley.

A weekend to remember.....

💥 2023 SEBRA Finals Resere Champion 💥

"Frosty" carried us these last 2 months of the season and had 2 clean runs at finals at the Lexington Horse Center on a big pattern! Couldn't be more proud of how she handled it.

"Jack" got us to the #2 spot and was voted "Horse Of The Year" 😭💙 and I couldn't be more proud of him and blessed to all those who voted for him. He's a 1 in a million.

Also was awarded an amazing buckle cup for Sportsmanship Award for the year by my fellow competitors and can't thank them enough. This is our 3rd yr of rodeo and I truly feel like its an amazing opportunity to meet new people and have made some of the best friends throughout this journey.

It was a rough year for several of us losing our main horses due to injuries or freak accidents. So thankful for amazing friends to help loan horses for folks like us to keep competing and trust us to take care of their equine athletes. 💜
