“It ain’t easy being cheesy”
I couldn’t have said it better myself. I think what he meant by this is that life is f***ing hard, and surviving on your own merits in a creative industry can be very testing. That’s definitely what he meant.

I asked a friend who has some years on me if there was ever a point in time where he felt as though he was beginning to get a handle on himself. His answer of course was no. I'm not sure why I thought it might be something else.
