Good morning,
At approximately 1020 hours on 7/12/24 we experienced a network wide outage. We have a main fiber optic line that runs out of Strawn and into a data center in Irving. On Highway 180 close to PaloPinto the fiber was damaged due to road construction. Fiber splicing crews were on site within the hour and into the night until 0600 am on 7/13/24. 2200 feet of new fiber had to be ran and spliced to resolve the issue. As of 0500 am our service has been fully restored!
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused all of our customers! We are working on a way to keep this from happening in the future!
