We are excited to announce our K-4th grade Summer school program: STEAMscape: Summer Explorer Academy
The programming this summer is going to allow students in grades K-4 to explore the state of Arizona through STEAM-based learning experiences.
Applications will be accepted through May 16, 2024.

Attention 5th–8th grade parents!

It's time to sign up for CAREER CAMP!
Every summer, CGESD hosts a Career Camp, which offers 5th - 8th CGESD students a variety of paths and interactive environments to explore. Each camp is run by community members who have direct experience in the career field.
*Career Camp is only open to CGESD students.

This year students can choose from 5 different camps

-CGPD and Fire Camp
-Automotive Career Camp
-Animal Science Camp
-Utility Career Camp
-Health Care Career Camp

CAMP IS FREE and food and transportation are provided!

When - Monday to Thursday
June 10 - June 13, 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Community Showcase on Thursday the 13th 12:00 - 1:30 PM
Where - Located on the Villago Middle School Campus

We will offer five separate Career Camps. Your student may apply for up to 3 of these camps, but will only be selected for one. All students will be selected for a Career Camp, Camp assignments are on a first come first serve basis. Each career camp will have approximately 25-30 students.


Paperwork is Due May 9, Students will have their assignments via email the week of May 20.

The front office has a Christmas Tree filled with ornaments that staff members from COIL, CGOLA, Desert Choice, and ECLC with their wants and needs for their classrooms. Please take however many ornaments you would like. Gifts should be brought to the front office during school hours.

CGOLA Families,

We are experiencing issues with Canvas resulting in teachers and students being unable to connect to their online courses. A ticket has been placed with the company, and we are awaiting a resolution. Please have your child log in to Clever and access the teacher's class Zoom link from there for K-2 classes tomorrow.

4th graders from Ms. Boynton-Crudup's class had fun attending Arizona Project Wet presented by the University of Arizona! They were able to learn about water conservation, the water cycle and the groundwater system! Great things to learn living in our desert climate!

Thanks to Everyone who stopped by our Holiday Light Spectacular. Our students will be judging the winners of the Car Decorating Contest. They will be notified once results are in. Happy Holidays from CGOLA.

CGOLA had some very special visitors yesterday! Thank you to all our students and families that came and celebrated with us!

On December 15th, from 6-7 p.m., CGOLA will host a ✨Drive-Thru Light Spectacular! ✨

Families, community members, and school district staff are invited to join the festivities with their own decorated vehicles.

Each person who signs up will be assigned a number that will be displayed on their dashboard. The event will be recorded and judged by students and staff. First, second, and third place winners will be chosen; the first place winner will have their pick of a gas card, a restaurant card, or a Starbucks card.

The 2022 Veterans Day Art Contest deadline is coming fast! All CGOLA student artists are encouraged to participate.
