Working on a man cave for a client.. only request was the deer head. Framing it out with a beautiful frame from a shattered mirror and flanking it with old picture frames. In love with the lighting that has already been installed. Deciding on furniture today....

I always look forward to the change of seasons. I have to say I welcome the cool crisp mornings and the beautiful change of color. I am a big fan of all things fall. My doors are open this morning, worship music playing with all sounds flooding in from outside. What a beautiful morning!

Did you know that 70% of Americans make their beds each morning. 😳 I find that impressive. I was surprised by that. Another post I read states. "If you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another,"... Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter.” I tend to agree with this! I'm part of the 70% most if the time 😉. I know this is a little OCD... but I really don't like wrinkles when I make by bed.. I know they are inevitable, but I fight them as much as possible.
A little hack I want to share with you is...
I spray my sheets with Downy wrinkle release. 😁🤷‍♀️ It's not perfect, but it is much better. Try it! Especially those stagers out there! When you need a little refresh... Here is the answer. So how about you??? Do you make your bed each morning?

Serve where your gifts are... and do so with a spirit of excellence!
The key to fulfilling your purpose (what's in your heart)is being faithful to what's in your hands (your calling)
Stay in your lane. Each of us have our own calling and as we are faithful to that calling our purpose will be revealed to us. As a designer/stager it is so hard to not fall into the comparison trap. But I try daily to stay focused on my race and what god is calling me to that day. I encourage each of you to do the same. There is Value in your calling in the Market Place. 😁🤗

While thinking about when I'd get time to make seasonal changes in my home. I looked around and god had blessed me with the sun shining through a window and I had to snap this picture. I love how the shadow reflects the little flower in the middle of this pillow. Did you know changing small things like throw pillows is an easy way to add variety and create texture without breaking the bank... I personally love to to purchase pillow covers. They are much easier to store. 😉
