The Bridge Magazine
The Bridge is a rock music magazine featuring both written and live interviews with different bands from the post-hardcore/screamo genre and related music.
Starting out as a dream of a high school girl, listening to Flyleaf, Escape The Fate, and Underoath, HXC Magazine was made real in August of 2012. After interviewing Escape The Fate, Max Green, Bryan Stars, and others, we took a hiatus in January 2014. Now, in 2017, we have assembled a team of talented individuals to once again put out, HXC Magazine in the Fall of 2017.

The Bridge Magazine is going on a temporary hiatus until summer to work on a new venture and extension of the magazine. We are still very much going to reopen, but more of a digital platform that written content. Please direct any questions to the page. Thank you and see you in the summer!

New album "Dark Divine" drops November 3rd!
'Shallow Truths for Shallow Minds' is definitely an oddball for the record but I think people who appreciate the more aggressive side of the band will gravitate towards it. Mixing melody and heavy is sometimes easier said than done but I think this is a great representation of the different things the band can do," said singer Chris Roetter.
The track is taken from their upcoming album Dark Divine, out November 3 through longtime label Rise Records. The album was produced by Erik Ron at Grey Area Studios and mixed by Caleb Shomo (Beartooth).

Victory Records is raising money to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Four of their bands, Reverend Horton Heat, Shattered Sun, Darkness Divided, and Seeker call Texas home and 100% of the proceeds will go toward the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. Shattered Sun will be performing two relief shows and have shared this message:
“Good morning our fellow Texans. After much deliberation about the shows this weekend in Corpus Christi and San Antonio we have decided to keep the shows alive. We spoke to all the bands and both venues and decided mutually to turn these shows into disaster relief shows. We simply couldn't sit back and do nothing. I know there are plenty of people out there struggling and we must do our part to help the city and state that made us who we are today. Saturday's show, we teamed up with The House of Rock – $10 at the door, but can knock that down to half price by bringing a few canned goods to donate. If you don't have canned goods or a donation, a portion of your cover will be donated to those in need at this trying time. We will leave everyone with this, we definitely know that this isn't a time for shows and metal. We almost canceled all together but we didn't want to give up that easy. We want to help the place we all call home in any way we can, and this is the best way we know how. If you can't make it this weekend we truly understand but for those that can, please follow our lead by lending a hand to your fellow Texans in need. Come have a good time for a good cause!”

Our Story
The Bridge was a place in a high school where people of all backgrounds could come and gather. They were never judged for their differences, but welcomed under a blanket of acceptance. The one thing that resonated among all of us, was music.
When The Bridge was created, we wanted it to be a place where all post-hardcore fans could be immersed in the lives of their favorite bands on a personal level. With our in=depth interviews that ask the questions the fans wants to know.
