So much to say about today. I was watching it all happen that day safely from home in AZ. I will never forget those who lost their lives that day in such a senseless act of violence and terrorism. Visiting the site a few years ago I was able to imagine the scale of the destruction and it hit me hard. I can't imagine what it was like for those who were right there that day.

What I also remember was the feeling of unity shortly after. We all shared something and were joined in our grief, rage, and sense of community. I see so much division today in our country but I always remain hopeful that we can still come together as a nation and as humans. Take time today to reflect and be thankful for your family and friends and say a prayer for those we lost that day. I will continue to pray for a brighter future for all of us.
