Why Dentistry Is IMPORTANT?
Because even though he's missing an eyebrow, the first thing you notice is his smile!!!!
Knocked out teeth are very common among children and it is mostly due to sports injuries.
The Key to save the tooth is to ACT IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!
1. Grab the tooth by the crown "AVOID TOUCHING THE ROOT"
2. If the tooth is dirty rinse it with milk, DON'T SCRUB THE TOOTH, DON'T USE CHEMICALS or SOAP
3. Try to place the tooth back into the socket, if unable, or worried that child might chock on the tooth place the tooth in a container with milk "DON'T LET the tooth get dry"
4. Contact your local dentist immediately.
PS. 90% of the knocked out teeth are successfully saved when reattached within 30 minutes of the time they were knocked out
5 Tips to keep your teeth healthy over the holidays
1. Don’t crack nuts with your teeth
2. Pass on chewy treats
3. Use proper tools to open packages and bottles
4. Avoid chewing on hard candy or ice cubes
5. Say “no” to nail biting.

Ever wondered?
Q. How old should my child be before I make his first dental appointment?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends that a child go to the dentist by age 1 or within six months after the first tooth erupts. Primary teeth typically begin growing in around 6 months of age.
