Granny and Pa's Pecan Co. was inspired by our love of all things pecan. Blake's love of Pecans inspired me to give them a try.
Blake, my husband and co-founder, grew up on a pecan orchard where he spent endless hours riding around with his Pa learning about trees and pecans. Granny Franny took those pecans and turned them into delicious pecan pie and other delectable desserts. I never really liked pecans, but I had never had good pecans either. We will have several pick-up dates at local Farmers Markets and as always you can have them shipped. All pecan halves are beautiful mammoth Pawnee halves. These are the same variety of pecans we have at market that everyone loves! They are big, meaty, and full of flavor.

Father's Day is right around the corner! We've had some requests for pecan pie for Father's Day and we thought we would open up orders for pie! We will deliver or prearrange pickup either the Friday or Saturday before Father's day.

It's our last market of the season! Our online business will keep us busy through Christmas and then we will enjoy some much needed time off before it all ramps back up on New Year's Eve!

From our first market to today our first tent has been with us. Tonight is her last market and she is retired except the occasional trip to the beach. If we knew what we know now the first time we set her up. If her cover could talk she would tell the stories of incredibly good days and incredibly hard days. I don't know why retiring this tent makes me so emotional, but it does 😭

We need your feedback! We are applying to the Scarborough Renaissance Festival and it's a juried event. That means that they take all of the applications and judge them for approval. We have to be on theme so we are creating new names and labels specifically for this event! We have decided on our standard line up of show pecans and these are the names we have landed on so far! Let us know what you think or if you have any suggestions or improvements. The image below is a sample label!
