Before I even realized that the August birth stone is Peridot (and therefore, partially Virgo’s birth stone) I kept getting messages to use Peridot for Virgo. The color green has long been associated with healing, and part of Virgo’s power is in its ability to provide care to others. It does, after all, own the House of Health and Service✨

Peridot is absolutely PERFECT for Virgo. It teaches that holding onto people, or the past, is counterproductive. And for this very sensitive EARTH sign (remember, Earth signs are inherently stubborn and tend to hold onto things), it would be powerfully beneficial, alleviating jealousy, resentment, spitefulness and anger. It enhances confidence and self-assertion without aggression (Virgo can use is dose or two of these qualities!). This stone is essential at looking back to the past to find the gift in your experience, and shows how to FORGIVE YOURSELF and move on. A little back-story: my name is Holland, and I am a Healer and a Lightworker . Finding my calling on this path was the most difficult journey I’ve ever been on. For those of you that have gone through a Spiritual Awakening , you know what I mean; it’s not all cupcakes and rainbows. We buried ourselves into our deepest and darkest crevices of our Soul . We found our wound and worked hard to heal it on our own. We then climbed out of those trenches, after months and months of shedding our old skin time and time again... it’s not an easy process and many souls quite literally do not make it through this. But for us Lightworkers, the 12th House souls... we have no choice but to go through this. It is part of our calling. We are here to serve others...we cannot do that unless we have first served and healed OURSELVES. Only then can we be the beacon of Light for those souls that are still lost in their darkness.
