I had the pleasure of filming Serendipity's 20th Anniversary event a few weeks ago. It was such a fun afternoon, as community members came together to support MV Advancements and, of course, enjoy some ice cream.

3rd Street is simply lovely, especially in the fall. Downtown McMinnville just feels so cozy! What are some of the things YOU love about McMinnville?

I encourage you to go to LUM's today for the Grand Opening of The Red Fork food truck! They'll be serving from 11am to 2pm. I was lucky to have sampled some of the food the other night, and it was delicious! The Red Fork brings a taste of the Pacific to McMinnville.

Join me this afternoon in celebrating Serendipity's 20 years of scooping joy for the community! From 2pm to 6pm, they're giving away free mini scoops of ice cream. There is also an opportunity for customers to donate to MV Advancements, the original owners of Serendipity.

Ignite will be there to capture some happy moments on people's faces. See you this afternoon! πŸ“ΈπŸ¦

There's a story behind every logo.
A supernova is powerful and luminous stellar explosion. I had so many drafts of celestial things, and nothing seemed to fit. πŸ’«

Then, I did some research into Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty. She has several symbols of beauty including: a dove, myrtle flower, swans, laurel, apple, &🌹R O S E 🌹 The rose was perfect!

My dear friend Stephanie () is all about helping you be true to yourself, learning self-care, and finding your inner beauty. And on top of that, she's a master Cosmetologist! She does amazing work with hair color and correction, and is so meticulous with lash extensions. She's an awesome babe with a dedication to her business that I adore, and I loved getting the opportunity to help her start her business earlier this year. ❀

Always be a blessing. This phrase stuck out to me as I wrote 30-something letters to neighbors. "Our goal is to always be a blessing..." and I couldn't shake it. Shouldn't that be everyone's goal?

Recently, I've found it difficult to find much beauty on social media, between the hateful posts and disturbing news. So after thinking on this phrase over the past few days, I decided to create it and let it float around the interwebs. I hope this brings you joy!

Even better: I'm getting this made into stickers and they will be available in a couple weeks. 🀩

Let's talk about product and service photography. πŸ“·

A customer viewing your website or social media pages wants to see examples of what you do. πŸ‘€ (In a professional service industry, it is more difficult to capture that, but still possible!) πŸ“Έ So get out your camera, make sure your subject is well-lit, and take some time to grab photos of your products or services. πŸ”₯

People are searching RIGHT NOW for their next dine-in, retail therapy, or salon experience. Get those photos online! πŸ’»

You'll be seeing more of my work soon, as I start to take my own advice. πŸ™ƒ

Here's proof that I donut always post about food. πŸ˜‰ (I just couldn't resist.) Hi, my name is Casey! I have lived in Yamhill County nearly all my life and have such a fondness for our beautiful valley. And cats, coffee, and ice cream. I decided to start this business called πŸ”₯ Ignite Marketing πŸ”₯ to help other small businesses grow their visibility and online presence. It started as a hobby and is now the thing I get to look forward to every day.
Aside from working for my current clients, I'm volunteering to promote The Melt Down 2020, which is a fundraiser for YCAP Food Bank. I promise I won't always post about grilled cheese sandwiches, but I also won't stop until February is over. 😁 Follow or join The Melt Down Facebook group for more info on ways you can contribute.

Takin’ care of business(es)

Everyone deserves to be loved and cared for. Let me say that again: everyone deserves to be loved and cared for. If the people I meet and encounter don’t feel that they’ve been heard or cared for, then I haven’t done my duty as a human being. That’s what I want Ignite Marketing to be based on - demonstrating that everyone and every business has value.

We have been blessed with the ability to do some really cool things, and I am really fortunate to have a job that allows be to be creative and own a small business. The skills I learn are tools that accompany the creativity, and together with my education and training, allow me to provide a variety of services for other small business owners. The end result? A blossoming and vibrant community of small businesses that work together, grow, and are heard.

So. I’d love to hear about your small business. Or large business, or hobby. And I know you have a story to tell about it, because it matters to you, and therefore, it matters to me.

Let’s get coffee, say... next week?
