Tickets for the dessert competition are sold out, but there are still plenty of ways to support Oakland TNR Coalition this Sunday (July 21) at Abjuration Brewing.
Proceeds from the tasty Catatouille food truck, basket raffles, and more will be available. Not to mention, I’ll be playing some throwbacks you may have forgotten about from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Bring your appetite, thirst, and wallets and let’s help out the kitties in our area 😻

Super pumped to put on my DJ Johnny Marco hat on July 21 to provide entertainment for Pittsburgh's First Vegan Dessert Competition event to raise awareness and funds for the amazing people at Oakland TNR Coalition!!! Any sort of animal rescue and animal support is HUGE in my book and Oakland TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release)Coalition pulls through for so many feral cats to help control the wild population, as well as supporting domesticated cats in the Pittsburgh-region!
For the kitties that can be domesticated or were domesticated to begin with, they help rescue, foster, and find loving homes through adoption. Just last month, one of my sister-in-law’s clients let her know about a senior kitty who lived next door who was set to be euthanized simply because his owners were moving and did not want to take him on the move 😡.
Other than being old and having routine ‘old-kitty conditions’, there was no need to euthanize this senior “catizen” named Riley. (His picture is included here). Luckily Oakland TNR Coalition were able to rescue and foster him! They found out he was in his 20s after getting him to the vet for a checkup! This is just one of hundreds of stories they deal with each year, all while being 100% non-profit and volunteer-run!
You can make an impact in Riley’s life, as well as so many other innocent kitties in our area by participating in this upcoming Vegan Dessert Competition at Abjuration Brewing on Sunday, July 21 from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Had a blast DJing Callen and Megan's wedding this past weekend at Olive or Twist ! Such a fun couple and their guests never left the dance floor!
