Well today was a fun way to go out at Nu Gen. one final time. We bowled on the PBA Chameleon pattern and it was difficult to say the least. Scores were low, but Lenny Lynch was able to get the win today after putting together some big games and staying out of trouble. We had 40 bowlers today, and I greatly appreciate those that came out, whether it was your first time or your 20th tournament, I couldn’t thank you all enough. I’ve had a lot of fun running these events for the last few years, and I hope to be able to continue to put events on in some capacity in the future. Once again, thank you all for the continued support.

We had 46 bowlers show up today for the final showdown. It was a tough pattern and at the end of the day Sean Hopper was the champion. This is his second straight showdown win, so congratulations to Sean! Once again I’d like to thank everyone for the continued support over the last few years, it was a pleasure putting events on. The final tournament at nu gen will be Sunday July 18th and it will be be a 6 game scratch event.

The next showdown tournament will be on Saturday, April 24th; a post will be coming soon regarding that event.

Also, a big thank you to the two sponsors of this months tournament: DeBoss Bowling (Bowling jerseys) & BowlTec (professional bowling lessons). Please check out both companies and see what they have to offer, you won't be disappointed.

Hello everyone, our next event will be a scratch tournament on Saturday, March 13th. Please let me know if you plan on attending, as we are still working with a limited capacity of 72 bowlers.

This event will be 6 games on the PBA viper pattern, and it will be scratch. Again, we are limited to the first 72 bowlers so I will be keeping a list of those signed up. Unfortunately, no youth bowlers will be allowed in this event.

Hello everyone,

With the local health officials confirming that Sutter County will be added to the watch list tomorrow, I have decided to cancel the Sunday Scratch Tournament set to take place this Sunday, July 12th. It isn't something I wanted to do, but it just seems better to cancel it now, rather than waiting until the last minute. I apologize for any inconvenience, and I will update you through this page with any details regarding future events. Thank you all for the continued support.

Hello everyone,

We had a great turnout of 58 bowlers this morning for the June Saturday Showdown. The pattern was Kegel Radium, and following the tournament we were able to pay 15 bowlers. Next month's tournament will be on July 25th at NOON. A flyer will be posted later this week announcing the pattern as well.

Additionally, this was the first tournament that was sponsored by Deboss Bowling, their jerseys are very nice and we look forward to continuing to display Eric's work in the future. So again, I'd like to thank Eric at Deboss Bowling for his contribution to the Saturday Showdown.

We had 82 bowlers today bowling on the red square pattern. I appreciate everyone’s support and patience through the issues before the tournament began involving the lane machine. I apologize for that. We paid 17 spots so the cash line was 1554 (-46). Thank you again, and congratulations to Joe Petrovich on winning!

We had an amazing turnout of 69 bowlers today for the May edition of the Saturday Showdown. This was a new record for our tournaments, and I'm thankful for the continued support. Also, we had a nice 299 in today's set of games bowled by Lanndyn Carnate, almost had our first 300. I know a lot of people are itching to bowl tournaments, so the next event I will be running will be a Sunday Scratch event on June 7th, at 10 am. It will be an 8 game event. Once again, thank you for all the continued support.

P.S. - Shoutout to Stan Gryczko, Rich Clay, & Curtis Weaver for all the help today
