Hey guys 🤗 sorry I have been MIA, but life happens! I’m still here coming up with new ideas and testing new products. Yesterday I saw the GREATEST idea. Reusable water balloons!!! Nothing is worse than filling up a million balloons to pop, then have to pick up all of the popped pieces 😣 . Check out the first balloon attempt! These are the SOFTEST. They are super absorbent and of course reusable👌🏻. Looking forward to the warm weather to blast my kids but for now, we will be testing them out in the tub later!

Tested out the dishwasher tablets this morning! I am never one to put a food crusted dish into my dishwasher, but for testing purposes I went for it! They are not only non toxic and eco friendly, but they WORK!

I’ll start:
CLOTH DIAPERS‼️ those closest to me know how absolutely obsessed I am with them. The prints are just so stinkin cute! No- these aren’t the old school diapers with rubber pants over them. These are just like disposables, but with customizable absorbency, and are of course REUSABLE!! Most brands are adjustable to fit up to 35 lbs, and extended sizes are available as well. So these babies will last until my little one is potty trained. This means that at the end of this diapering journey, I will have saved about 7,000 diapers from entering the landfills (fun fact: diapers take up to 500 years to decompose!). Another huge plus is the $$$ saving. I have spent about $300 on my just about 40 diaper and insert stash, and like I said, this will take me all the way through to potty training, and I can sell/donate my stash to be used by another mama!

Some other pluses- I have only had ONE blow out in cloth. I don’t think anything could have saved us that time 😂
They don’t smell or contain chemicals and we rarely get rashes!

Guys, I am sooo excited to share this new adventure I will be embarking on hopefully starting this spring. I can’t possibly hold it in anymore so here is some information about who we are, and WHY‼️

Reduce, Reuse, Refill will be CNY’s first pop up “refillery”. We will offer handmade/organic detergents, soaps, cleaners, skin care items, as well as many eco friendly accessories to add to your day to day routine. Most of these items will be handmade locally by myself, and other local makers ❤️.

How does it work? Bring your own container or purchase one of our glass containers at the shop. We will weigh your container prior to filling with your household cleaner, or skin care items. Always bring a clean/dry container for filling!

Now let’s get to the WHY: Only 9% of all plastic waste ever produced has actually been recycled ♻️! Living an eco friendly life isn’t an “all or nothing” lifestyle, but any small things we can do individually can be the beginning to a much needed change. We strive to provide a local resource to those interested in trying to reduce their plastic footprint in their day to day lives, and to provide non toxic, eco friendly products to use in your homes 🏡 .

We are still in the infancy of this plan, and I am working daily to find the perfect ingredients to offer you non toxic household products that really work, but I am so excited to take you all on this journey with me. ♻️💚
