*Scent Overview:
Our 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒚 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒐𝒆 is a combination of Christmas Trees and Peppermints. TriniB created this scent in the lab, and we think she nailed it. It is earthy with core notes of Frasier Fir and a kick of freshly crushed peppermint, it creates a cozy festive aroma perfect for the holidays.

I wasn't planning on sharing this, but...

We just had a tough lesson on how to deal with bullies! Long story short, Trinity was cast as her school district's "Kindness Fairy" at the beginning of November, where she will report on ways to incorporate kindness into your everyday life as a kid and as an adult (it's like the news, and that's her segment).

Well, a few days after her first filming, she encountered a bully and she did not react in the best way. On this particular day, I guess Trinity had enough and she took matters into her own hands. The teacher was shocked, and honestly so was I! I was forced to reiterate we do NOT repay evil with evil and We do NOT allow other people or circumstances to change who we are! That is NOT an easy task in these difficult times, but the expectation cannot and will not change.

For her, this came full circle when I reminded her of the leader she is at home and now publicly. I asked her, "Do you ever want someone to question if you are truly kind or not?" She answered with a NO instantly. I told her to remember that the next time she is tempted to lose her cool and act out of character.

Moral of the story:
1. It is hard to be a kid these days!
2. It is hard enough raising kids in these times, so please teach your kids to spread KINDNESS not hate.
3. Love and discipline can coexist! The Kindness Fairy in my house is teaching me this. When our children make mistakes, we must learn to let love speak louder than disappointment. That may be a new concept for our generation, but I'm seeing it set a new standard for our youth - a standard of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!

*Trinity was so upset by having to admit that she reacted in an unkind manner. It broke my heart to see her dissatisfied with herself. It was critical to me that she understand that when we face new challenges, we sometimes fail, and that is okay. Sometimes we have to fail in order to succeed!*

How do you handle the bully encounters and/or the bully talks in your home?

In 2019, I founded the nonprofit Empowerher.tn to mentor teenage girls ages 13 to 18 in becoming empowered women who KNOW their identity in Christ. Since 2019, we've added a few new programs, but our teens remain at the forefront!

Trinity, an 8-year-old girl, took part in our November session, and I was completely blown away. I'm always amazed at how mature and articulate our teenagers are, but hearing my little baby open up in front of everyone tugged at my heartstrings. She left feeling heard, and I left feeling relieved that she will be just fine!

This , we've decided to donate 50% of our profits to empowerHER. In addition, we are also extending our Cyber Monday promotion of FREE shipping on orders of $40 or more.

I told Trinity that no matter how big her company grows, she must promise me that she will ALWAYS give back to the community. She said, "Mommy, I promise," and then reminded me of all the time she has already given back LOL. Aye! Where did summer go?

I can't believe summer is almost over, and kids are gearing up to return to school! It went by so fast, but we have really enjoyed ourselves. We took a little social media break to really make the most of the summer and be more present with our family. Summer is such a big deal in our house!

Today my little big baby will be competing in her school's Talent Show (SHE MADE THE CUT!) I will go live at 1pm for those who can't make it and wanted to share in this moment. She told me she is ready, and I believe her. This is a first for her. She said singing in front of complete strangers is different than singing in front of people at church. And I get it! Her request is that we bring the baby 🤣 (this is a popular request these days)

She said she's going to be soooo happy if she wins! I asked her, “but what if you lose? what are you going to do?” She said, “I am going to congratulate the winner and show good sportsmanship. I'm not going to be a sore loser.” I said who taught you that? She said me 🤣 I definitely have not said anything about good sportsmanship. Her being a sore loser - YES!
