Expect my first poetry book to be out in the spring.

The other books will be out later in the year.

31/12/2023

I got a few updates for you guys to end the year.

The book, Collected Poems is going to be released in the spring of 2024.

I have other books that I am working on for later in that year too. I have mentioned a few of them already (Everything Must Go and Hit of Henry), so expect a few updates on them as the year begins too.

As usual, I will update you on whatever new work I have planned.

Happy New Year.

Book Update

I just got the last illustrations for Collected Poems. That book is just about done. Expect an announcement about it in the coming weeks.

01/11/2023

Good News
I am going to try to get some more illustrations in Collected Poems.
Once they are done, the book will be finished.

27/10/2023

The first edit of my book cover for The Hit of Henry. I am still working on it. I need something in the middle of the image, but I don't know what.

This will be the first novel that I write.

21/10/2023

Enjoy your weekend. Thanks for the support.

12/10/2023

There is only one more step to getting Collected Poems complete, and that is to send it off to the book formatter. Then it will be available for you all.
I am hoping for late this month, or early next month as the final dates here.

Readers don’t understand how hard it is to pick the good parts of a book to share with them on social media, especially when that book has no good parts.

(This isn't about my books, I swear.)

Photos from Greg Luti's post 26/09/2023

A few of the poems for my next book have illustrations to go along with them. Here is one of the images.

I am fairly certain my book, Collected Poems, is one of the few you will read with three images as random as that.

There is really a major plot twist in the book, where the whale goes to the school to find his heart, but it is really a dream.

I'm kidding. Those are images of three different poems in the book.

Book Update
I have an illustrator finishing up on some images for the book, Collected Poems.
I am still working on the stories for Everything Must Go.
I am also working on the cover of The Hit of Henry.

What used to make me happy, makes me sad.
What used to make me laugh, makes me confused.
As my mind grew to become an adult, who knew of much, it also gained knowledge of the evils in the world, and the unanswerable questions we all have.

This is no good pitch for a poetry book without me telling you in some way that it is amazing, inflating the words and my ego.

Having said that, you should consider buying my next poetry book. It is pretty awesome.

18/09/2023

Here is the pitch for Collected Poems. Be honest, would this intrigue you?

This book is an exploration of a writer trying to find his voice through explorations of nostalgia and questioning, as well as some interesting observations about our modern world.

17/09/2023

I am getting the illustrations for my poetry book, Collected Poems, together, and I know that some of you have asked for some more poems on here, which I am working on, too.
I am also going to put the pitch I gave you guys on the back cover of the book, since that may help draw interest.

15/09/2023

What book genres do you guys like to read?

13/09/2023

The title of my first novel will be The Hit of Henry.

I am still working on the cover for this one.

10/09/2023

I have been thinking about telling you all about my upcoming book since you guys said that some more context would help you determine your interest.

Let me tell you about the book. I called it "Collected Poems" because they are poems I had on me for a few years. I started writing the website Pens and Words and got sidetracked with my books.

There is no real theme that connects the poems. Still, it is more of an exploration of a writer trying to find his voice through explorations of nostalgia and questioning, as well as some interesting observations about our modern world.

I know. That is not the best pitch in the world, and I get that. I am talking about a poetry book, after all.

If you are a fan of free verse and don't mind giving an unknown guy with some wit a chance, then I would say to buy the book. (it will be out this fall)

If you don't like poetry, then just wait for my novels.

07/09/2023

As a new author, I would like to know if there is anything that I can do that would make you want to buy a book I am writing.

After all, you guys are the readers, so what would make you want to read one of my books?

04/09/2023

For my poetry book, Collected Poems, I will have a few images in the book to go with a few of the poems.

Here is one of the images in the book.

What do you think? Do you like it?

Here is part of a poem from my upcoming book. If you want to read the rest, you can subscribe to my newsletter on my site, gregluti.com

A little update on what is going on.

25/08/2023

Each week I am releasing content from one of my books on my newsletter. Go to my site, gregluti.com to subscribe and get the whole story of a disgruntled worker, explaining the reason for his exit. Personally, I like this O. Henry-esque ending to this story, more than other stories I have written. The story will be available in my upcoming short story collection titled, "Everything Must Go."

20/08/2023

Here is a little exchange from my upcoming novel. I don't have a name for the book yet.

"I think I have a story about a guy." Tom changed the topic.

“Wow, that is riveting. A story about a guy. Does he have a face too? And a name? My god, pretty soon you will tell me he does something too!”

18/08/2023

Which cover do you like more?

Both books are coming in the fall of this year.
