Why Wait Until Monday If You Can Start on Sunday?

You can start your journey to health any day!

I’ve set many goals throughout my life. Most of them were related to health and wellness because these two things are most important to me. And every time I would start my journey on Monday. Why Monday? Perhaps, Monday signifies a “new beginning” or some magical start point. In reality, Monday may be just an arbitrary chosen societal norm for rebirth, suggesting that all your bad habits will be cleansed up to this point.

I’m joking, of course 😉 You can start your journey on Monday, or any other day. Any day is a good day to set your health and wellness goal!

Personally, I prefer Sunday. And here is why:
*You can contemplate your decision for a whole week and make it even more compelling over Friday and Saturday discussions with family and friends.
*You can use Saturday to shop for healthy foods, do some meal prep, and clean the fridge.
*You can still have a lazy Sunday with brunch and fun activities that don’t require a lot of planning.
*Best part about starting on Sunday is if your launch is not successful, you can still do a second one on a traditional Monday, and tell your friends that Sunday was just a rehearsal. After all, you meant it this way!

Today is Sunday, July 30th, and I’m starting my journey to healthier me. It’s a perfect day, perfect time, and I’m taking my love, Marty Power, along for a ride.

It has been an eventful year so far. Moving to the Washington state is bittersweet. We miss all our friends, but the kids are here and we are excited to start a new chapter.
** I’ve completed my clinical yoga therapy training and ready to accept new clients.
