Rafieya Zara Husain - Her journey began in 2010 as she competed in her first pageant Miss India DC 2010 and won, she went on to Miss India USA and came in 1st runner-up. Zara later competed in Miss NAM Teen Virginia 4th runner up, and later winning the NAM Miss Virginia and other pageants in the USA top Model. Her highest win was at Miss World 2014 winning Beauty with a Purpose, Top 10 Miss World and Her biggest prize of the event was when she received the Miss World Caribbean title for being the only contestant from the Caribbean in the Final 10.
Rafieya Aasieya Husain was crowned Miss Universe-Guyana 2017 at the end of the first ever National Pageant to be held in the home of the Miss Universe Pageant. The former Miss World 2014 top eleven finishers and Queen of the Caribbean also romped of with the Most Elegant, Best Interview and Popularity side awards during the event held at York College Performing Arts Center in Queens, New York. Rafieya has been on the top of every pageant aficionados list who are monitoring this year’s aspirants for the 66th Annual Miss Universe Pageant to be held on November 26, 2017.
