Our second bike maintenance class for women (this one was srtong women all over 60 years old) was a great success! It’s not art, but it’s important and empowering. They took a little quiz trying to identify random but pretty common bike parts, we walked through the bike bit by bit talking about function of parts and bike fit, then I changed a tire while they watched, and finally they practiced taking off that tricky back wheel.

The David Hoekel Parkway Phase 3 Public Open House meeting is this Wednesday, March 6, at Wentzville City Hall from 4-7 p.m. This meeting will inform residents about the project’s status and gather public input and comments before the preliminary design begins. This is an informal come-and-go meeting. Representatives from the City of Wentzville, St. Charles County and the project’s design consultant will be available to answer your questions in person.
