In light of the recent pandemic, Artome ‘s Art Shows will be Virtual until the year 2023. It has been important to Saint Mary School Art Program to create , display and share our artist’ masterpieces while continueing fundraising efforts for Saint Mary School! We are looking forward to hosting our first Art Show on line premiering on March 31, 2022 featuring artist from P K-3- 8th grade . We are Celebrating Youth Art Month! More information coming!

Artist Spotlight , Allie Dickerson, 7th Grade . Saint Mary Spotlight Artist for the Month of March- “ Youth Art Month “ is 7th Grader Allie Dickerson! She loves drawing and paint with very vivid colors and is a member of SMS Art Club. She will be recognized in our student spotlight exhibit displayed in the school lobby! Congratulations , Abbie , on an outstanding job on all your accomplishments! We are proud of you!

Turkeys Turkeys everywhere! The Junior Art Club at SMS is helping with a craft project for Family Day to be held Saturday at the Diocese of Beaumont! These students helped get Turkeys ready to be jeweled ! It should be fun! 🧡🍁

Saint Mary Art Club was excited to welcome volunteer coordinator , Liz Mazzola Oliva, from Texas Total Care Inc. Home Health Care & Hospice to pick up Fall Art students created for the patients. 80 works of art were sent to be distributed to rooms with love from Saint Mary School! 🧡 Art Club President is -Catherine Doan, 8th grade -Junior Art Club President, is Lauren Nguyen 6th grade.

St. Mary Catholic School is proud to announce that Thomasina Nguyen will be our first student to be Artist of the Month for the 2021-2022 School Year. She is the daughter of Thao and Minh Nguyen. Thomasina will be a 7th grade student this year and held the office of Treasurer in the SMS Art Club last year. She is also a member of Student Council, and Saint Mary Catholic Church where she is an altar server. She plays Volleyball and Softball for SMS and serves at our Mass as well. Thomasina has won outstanding awards in Houston Rodeo Art and represented our school in the Juried Art Exhibition at the Stark Museum of Art. Thomasina has work very hard this Spring and Summer using her time and talent to assist our art club in painting recycled boards we sold as a fundraiser project.
