✨Natural Passion 4 Wellness and Family is not participating in Black Friday this year & never will.

✨Black Friday is detrimental to our environment and consumption practices in many different ways.

💰 Businesses create false dramatic sales by toying with prices before today. When consumers see the tags, they are pressured into participating in a deal they believe is only for one day. Much of these rushed purchases are returned.

🌳 Our environment suffers when we choose the cycle of production and waste over a circular economy. Packaging and returned/disposed-of products pollute our air.

📊 Large corporations that exploit their workers and our climate began the practice of Black Friday. To this day, the occasion continues to overwhelm small businesses who can’t measure up to multinational chains’ production levels and advertisements.

❗️Side-note.
Many don’t even know where originated from. But I don’t think folks want to know the bloody truth about that. 🤔

Today is a day of remembrance, reflection, and honor. We remember the deep history of the Native Americans who call this land home. We honor the indigenous communities that have been impacted by colonialism. We reflect on the Native cultures and traditions that have shaped our country today. May we never take their wisdom for granted. For they lead by example, they’ve shown us how to protect the earth, how to live in sync with nature, how to nurture community, how to embody unity, and how to hold all things sacred. ¥ Today my wife and I used our new at home for the 1st time. We were so excited to receive this in the mail! We kept talking about iiit from the day we invested in it until it arrived. 🤣

¥ It’s great for so many reasons which I’ll list in the comments below. ⤵️⤵️⤵️

¥ To be quite honest, self care has (past tense) been a challenge for me. On my journey juggling 2 businesses ( & ), now in my 8th week of online school, working on writing a book, doing my Qigong practice, balancing home life, our 2 fur babies, holding space for personal relationships, volunteering my time, being present for Friyay date nights with my wife, connecting with my ancestors & spiritual allies on a daily, crafting my 🔮, 🌱plant care, wowing 🤯my wife’s mouth 🤤 with homemade organic mouth dripping foods ( ), and the list goes on and on!
Notice I didn’t add myself in that list.
I’ve had to learn how to NOT leave my self care last on the list to the point I’d be to tired by the end of the day which meant I probably wouldn’t get to myself. 😢
Over a course of time I’d get so emotional because I kept forgetting about ME!
Being an introvert means you CRAVE 🤤 time to yourself.
After awhile I became fed up with leaving myself last! The lack was pouring out of my pores! It literally started lower confidence within myself! When I took a good, deep look at self I decided to make a shift. I started putting myself 1st which is after connecting with my spiritual allies.
As I continued prioritizing MY-SELF I started learning how to set healthy boundaries with my businesses as well.
It got to the point where on my ⓢⓔⓛⓕⓒⓐⓡⓔ ⓜⓞⓝⓓⓐⓨⓢ I turned off my phone so I wouldn’t be distracted by business related stuff.

¥ Here I am now posting and sharing my journey and how I arrived here in so many words.

¥ I hope this may resonate with someone struggling with there own self care.
This journey has compelled me to share what I’m doing on my ⓢⓔⓛⓕⓒⓐⓡⓔ ⓜⓞⓝⓓⓐⓨⓢ with you all.

I’m proud of you! 🤍

Haiti 🇭🇹 and Congo 🇨🇩🇨🇬 Nigeria 🇳🇬 Benin 🇧🇯 are the same people.

Those in few who truly have gotten to hear my share about my purpose know showing up for my community is deeply important to me.
And when I say “community” I mean the whole world 🌎 at large.

My wife Aeimee Diaz and I serve our community in so many ways without needing or looking for notoriety. We don’t post on social media platforms all that we do on a daily basis. We are to busy being present with those who need our help.
My wife and I have donated to help in any way we can. I wish I had more to give. 😭 But I know every bit helps and counts.

You may have seen the several posts in my stories lately.
My heart has felt so much pain and anger regarding what I’ve been seeing!
I had to take 1 day off from posting because i noticed and my wife saw how this has been affecting me. Not in a healthy way either. I’m not saying I feel happy now. I had to take a moment to bring my being back in a space of peace. I’m being more conscious when I feel those understandable feelings. I can’t allow myself to stay in it to long. I have to mindfully come back to peace.

I’ve shared in this post a trusted community business that’s actually using our funds for our people in need. The government isn’t helping us.

Mrs. Jessyka Winston and her sweet helpers are truly a gift and are helping our community in a huge way! And have been for years!

Lately I’ve been sharing of ‘some’ of the ‘many’ things going on in our world.
Those of you who know of me or have paid any attention to what I’ve been posting, mainly in my stories, know that I don’t post much on social media. I have been posting more lately.
I have recently lessened the folks I follow on here. I deleted my personal account as well.
I even contemplated on deleting this page and my other business pages.
My spiritual allies and light working ancestors advised me not to delete them.
They told me I’m here to help share the truth, continue assisting people on there healing journey, and I’ll be needed in the trenches as things continue to get worse. . .

I can’t help but notice the number of people who mainly post about surface stuff.
I can’t take it anymore! Seeing, knowing, empathiclly feeling what is really happening to so many people, animals, our climate, and Mother Earth around the globe, the masses are just playing it safe!
Please understand that I’m not saying all we should post is the sadness in the world.
I’m saying what about posting both, happy, and sadness. This is the reality!
It’s horrible to play it safe especially in these times.
I hope you can understand my heart felt words of expression.
Please people wake up!
Our community needs you!
Whatever you are able to do is plenty.
This platform needs your help by sharing “true news.”
