This week, we look at home sale trends in ZIP code 37172, the Springfield area in Robertson County. Springfield is about 28 miles north of downtown Nashville via I-24. The city is about 10 miles from the Kentucky state line.

Bellevue is a popular destination for nature lovers because of several attractions such as the massive Warner Parks that feature miles of paved and unpaved trails for hikers and cyclists, the Harpeth River Greenway, as well as the beginning access point for the multi-state recreational highway known as the Natchez Trace Parkway. One Bellevue Place is home to a Sprouts Farmer's Market grocery store, as well as an AMC movie theater, and many restaurants both chain & locally owned. A few blocks away you have several other grocery store choices, Publix, Kroger & Aldi. The new Bellevue Branch Library opened in January, 2015. The new Bellevue Branch features a children's area, teen area, computer space, café style coffee and vending area as well as meeting room space. There are 2 elementary schools, Gower Elementary School & Harpeth Valley Elementary School, a middle school, Bellevue Middle School & a high school Hillwood High School. Bellevue is experiencing a transformative trajectory in residential and commercial development. I lived in Bellevue for 3 years and absolutely loved this area and would highly recommend it.

Middle Tennessee’s housing market has been white hot for the last few years, so a downturn may be more indicative of a course correction than a serious threat to homebuilders active in the area.
Jordan Fleming, president of Lebanon-based Fleming Homes LLC, said the market slowing down is a positive change. Homes that used to sell well above asking in the space of a weekend are now spending more time on the market, removing the frenzy from the buying process.
