It's a big day for a lot of folks, and there's a lot of different perspectives on the ballot. This has been a long road. My addiction began when I was 14 and ended when I was 24. I was an unfit mother and lost custody of my daughter when she was around 2 years old. Today we celebrate the best Valentine's Day a mother could ask for. Today we celebrate the permanent reunification of a mother and a daughter. Today, we celebrate recovery.

Crawford County, I hate asking for money, but this year it's necessary. For too long we have been trapped in an endless cycle of overspending and financial negligence. Crawford County has consistently stayed at the top end of the spending averages for Pennsylvania 6th class counties for decades, and it's time to put an end it it. Voting for me means voting for the fastest and cheapest county software system available to open the option of completing court forms at home, the most cost-efficient document storage, and a community grant program supplying our school kids with everything they need to become the best version of themselves, increasing overall youth productivity.

2 years ago I fell in love with the game of politics, and the adrenaline rush of jumping into the mouth of the lion, maybe slightly more the latter. The endless letter writing, hand-shaking, phone calls, researching and decision making sometimes until 2-3 am doesn't sound fun to a lot of people. But to me, I couldn't pull away.
Even the election loss was inspiring to me, given the fact I received 41% of the total COUNTY votes against a 5-term incumbent. Some 18 year old. Some high school kid nobody knew about 3 months prior.
FDR once said if you fail, admit it frankly, and try again. So Crawford County, I'm back. I'll be seeking the Republican nomination for the Prothonotary's office this May.

Political stagnation has been one of this areas most monumental barriers preventing us from seeing change in our county for a while. Some of these changes include web based software, replacing lengthy courthouse visits that usually require leaving work to do so or rushing there after; community engagement tools, making voicing your public concern faster and more efficient; and finally, ERP integration, which takes multiple sources of County data and consolidates them into a single true source.

Our current elected officials are so intensely driven by the desire to stay in office and too often let power eclipse their duty to govern effectively.

In order to have your problems addressed and your money saved, you need to vote for the candidate who has your best interests in mind.
Make sure you actively pursue the due diligence to vote, making your neighborhood a better place.

I want to thank everyone who made a plan to vote this Primary! Although I unfortunately lost, I received a total of 3,387 votes, while my opponent received 4,830. As an 18 year old just getting started, 41% of the votes is not bad! This fight is not over Crawford County, and I won’t stop until it is. See you in November...

These fraudulent accounts are editing photos of them and creating false claims. Unfortunately, Roan and I have little control over what other people do on Facebook, nor do we have time to address the myriad things that may be posted on Facebook. This is despite repeated attempts and requests to curb this uncouth behavior.

Please engage in basic media literacy to determine the veracity of posts on Facebook, as we can see that this is a growing problem in our society.

I am saddened to have to make a post like this. Roan has conducted his campaign with honesty and integrity and I would hope the same for others. Further, it is a real shame that we have a young person engaging with our political system being berated by grown adults for things that are beyond his control in the press and on Facebook. I would hope that any of your children and youth looking on aren't dissuaded from engaging in our local politics due to this petty and childish behavior, because it is their future on the line.

I would also hope that adults in this county would have the grace, initiative to bring about change, and clarity of thought that Roan exhibits at his age as a young adult. I have not been so thoroughly impressed by a young person in some time, and I am sure that he will execute the duties of the Crawford County Clerk of Courts faithfully as a public servant. If he fails to be elected for this office, and this term, I have great faith that he still has a bright future wherever he places his passion and dedication.

The Clerk of Courts has seen a 2% salary increase from 2014-2017, a 1.5% increase from 2017-2020, and another 1.5% continuing from 2020 through 2023. If I am elected, I will immediately reject any further salary increases. If the position is required to accept the salary, I will redirect all additional funds through my scholarship program. A County Clerk keeps records pertaining to a county's population, such as birth, marriage, and death certificates. Additional responsibilities may include issuing licenses and permits, handling telephone inquiries, and serving customers.
If you ask me, $70,000 seems a bit steep in terms of job duties, especially when the Clerk of Courts consistently runs over budget and is required to pull money from the Orphans’ Court to stay afloat... let’s put a stop to that May 18th.
