We have an immediate opening in our Birmingham office.

Electrical inside sale position dealing primarily with electrical controls as well as some PLC's. Experience is mandatory and working knowledge of Square D/ Schneider Electric is preferred, but any electrical background (Cutler Hammer, Allen Bradley...etc.) is also applicable. Also, experience with Epicor Profit 21 or Eclipse is a plus, but not required. Applicant also needs to be able to work with Microsoft Word and Excel programs.

This is a position where you will be responsible for interaction with potential and current customers, while also supporting the outside salesforce.

Hours are 7:30-4:30 M-F

Today is a bittersweet day for the General Machinery family as it is Larry Garner’s last day with us. After 17 years of dedicated service, Larry is retiring from his role at General Machinery. During his time at the company, Larry has made a substantial impact, leaving a legacy of hard work, dedication, and excellence for the rest of us to follow.
Larry has been an invaluable member of the team, consistently going above and beyond in his role and contributing to the company’s success. He has been a leader, a mentor, and a friend to all who have had the pleasure of working with him, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and customers alike.
