We are currently looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to help meet the growing demand for our services to join our team in our fast-paced environment in Brainerd, MN.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for accounts payable and receivable.
Responsible for accounting and job costing for select projects, including preparation of budget vs. actual cost information.
Responsible for entering all project-related information into the construction accounting system to ensure timely and accurate job cost information.
Responsible for maintaining budget controls and ensuring job costs and other project reports are accurate.
Ability to effectively communicate accounting and project-related matters with Project Managers, with a focus on industry best practices.
Responsible for cash management.
C.I.P and financials preparation.
Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Required)
3+ years of experience in accounting
3+ years of experience in Excel & Office Suite

Salary:

· Starting at $65,000 and up (based on level of experience)

Kuepers Construction, is a family owned, fast paced, multi-family development and construction company. We are currently looking for experienced framing carpenters to join our crew. Ideal applicant will have experience in stick framing and setting panelized walls. Siding and trimming experience a plus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Frame walls, roofs, floors and all types of general wood and metal framing
• Install doors, windows, and hardware
• Install all types of siding, trim, fascia, soffit, etc.
• Install finish trims, casings, base, etc.
• Calculate lumber quantities and place material orders using company purchase orders
• Operate a wide variety of electric and gas-powered tools
• Drive and operate company vehicles
• Operate rough terrain forklifts, shop forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.
• Assist onsite crews
• Perform site clean-up
• Work on roofs of all types
• Obey all safety and company regulations
• Work cooperatively with all workers—taking direction from job superintendents
• Be willing to learn from on-the-job training when necessary

Requirements
• Ability to do physical labor
• Carpentry skills
• Regularly lift #50 to #75 and occasionally lift #100 and #125
• Ability to work in all weather
• Be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned
• Workers must be punctual and reliable
• General safety knowledge
• Ability to effectively use construction tools
