The finished layout from yesterday’s Sketch With Skye LIVE is a take on the classic 2 vertical/2 horizontal. My inner scrap circle refers to this as the “toast layout” - see below and maybe you will too from now on!

Over the years I’ve used this format for dozens of pages. I love this version with the border strip through the middle.

It was the perfect use for some remnants of the Welcome Home collection that had been languishing in my stash.

Tonight's layout is a sweet single page with just 2 photos. Anyone else think it looks like a school days Valentine envelope?

I created the sketch using a monochromatic selection from the Shabby Chic Rose papers going a bit back into my stash, and added embellishments from Totally Tonals and Vivid Melodies.

The bottom border adds a sense of movement while repeating the wide triangle element from the top. (See the comments for the link to the instructions for that border from the CM Blog) Finally I popped up a few of the embelllishments for a little something extra.

This is my final sketch from today's Sketch With Skye LIVE. I 🩷🩵💜🤎 the Ice Cream Social products and the Ice Cream Cone Build-A-Punch! 🍨

This page features a variation of a grid style layout. I've used a statement paper for the bottom border to add fun and it reinforces the theme of the page. This was the perfect page to use foam squares/tape to make the embellishments pop! You could easily put up to 5 photos on this page.
