Hi my name is Teresa and I’m the head chef here at Pacos Tacos. The name pacos tacos comes from my late father’s business. My dads name was Francisco he was born and raised in Mexico and came over when he was 18. He had many trial errors but his end goal was to create a family and build a business. My dad had his business for almost 20 years. He then got sick and passed away. My dad definitely taught me a lot of things and the kitchen was one of them although cooking didn’t seem so interesting to me at the time, eating was lol. In 2020 during the shutdown me my husband Hussein started to create some classic dishes my dad once made but with halal meat. Reason behind that we couldn’t find authentic Mexican food that was halal. We then started pacos tacos to bring the same Mexican food I once loved as a kid to the hands of many people to enjoy. Our goal is to continue to carry our parents legacy, by show casing the love and passion for food. My parents would say “Está en la mano” which means it’s in the hand when it comes to cooking the heart and hand is key. I just want to thank each and everyone of you who gave our food a try and fell in love. We truly appreciate you all and hope to continue to make your tummies happy and your hearts full♥️ thank you- Pacos crew 🇲🇽🌮❤️ echale ganas 💪🏽
