Do you like classic book covers (first editions, rare editions), or do you prefer the updated/modernized verions?

I was so excited to find this cover of Beloved by Toni Morrison because it is the same as the cover used for the label on
this Beloved inspired candle. I love its simplicity. And personally I love vintage covers the most, and if the book is well
used and well loved, I love it even more. It has been a part of so many people's lives, changed them, made them grow,
become better people. And to hold that in your hand, feels heavy with importance not just pages.

Do you have any siblings?

I do not, but I've always wondered how wonderful it must be to have brothers and sisters. Yes, it may have its negatives,
especially in childhood, but overall, I think it is nice to have.

What is your favorite classic romance story?

There are so many to chose from, but Wuthering Heights stands out to me due to its atmospheric moodieness. If you
have not read it, it is an absolute must for any lover of classic literature.

What was the last book you got completely lost in?

Today is the last day of the National Tom Sawyer Days. The festival is held ever year from july 1st to july 5th,
celebrating Mark Twain's most famous creation!

Do you like going to parties or prefer staying at home?

Fun fact: today is the day Tom Buchanan took Nick to a party and punched Myrtle in the face, in the classic that is
The Great Gatsby! Personally, I am not a huge fan of parties, I'd much rather be reading in bed, but I Gatsby party is
someone I wouldn't mind attending. Too bad it is fictional. I'm going to have to settle for lighting this candle and
re-reading my favorite parts!

As we get closer to Father's day, we cannot forget about Atticus Finch! Atticus Finch, the narrator's father, has served
as a moral hero for
many readers and as a model of integrity for lawyers.

Father's day is fast approaching, and we wanted to highlight some of our candles based on books that feature stong, wonderful father

When we were thinking of our June lineup, we wanted to highligt candles and books, which bring to mind feelings of summer whether by
scent or by the setting of the story. Remember the first sentence of The Picture of Dorian Gray? "The studio was filled with the rich odor of
roses, and when the light summer wind stirred amidst the trees of the garden, there came through the open door the heavy scent of the
lilac or the more delicate perfume of the pink-flowering thorn." That's where the inspiration for our Dorian Gray candle scent came from.
