The MOST common questions we receive...
1️⃣Are you a franchise? No, we are a license agreement with the best product on the soft serve market.
2️⃣Who are the owners? Brooke and Charles, we live up the street and raised two boys in OV. Our sons helped open the place in different ways.
3️⃣ Are you affiliated Blue Banana? No. Nice people, but no affiliation.
4️⃣ Why did you open the shop during COVID? We needed to break the depression and provide our teens/young adults somewhere to work, learn and converse with people face to face. It was perfect timing.
5️⃣ What is the difference between frozen yogurt and gelato? Froyo is 0% fat milk and probiotics, Gelato is higher fat and no probiotics. We make everything onsite, fresh daily. This year we went through nearly 500 lbs of strawberries and over 100 pineapples!
6️⃣Who do you hire? Must be 16 years old, active in the community, usually a first job (thx for your patience) and they must have a HUGE interest in small business.
7️⃣Will you open another PW? Who knows - Thanks for asking!
8️⃣Why are you closed on Tuesdays and most holidays right now? Our staff is young and it's important as a business owner to say..it's OK to put family first.
9️⃣How do you pick your flavors? Suggestions from our wonderful community! We have 90 recipes let us know what you'd like! There is a suggestion box in the shop.
🔟 Any new products coming? YES! In the new year, we will be baking up a few sweet surprises. 💟🍪
