Recently, I shared a picture my tea composed of cinnamon, ginger, honey, and lemon-infused water on my Instagram story, and many of you asked for more details. So here it is! This hydrating drink isn’t just about the refreshing taste, but it’s also full of ingredients that support your health.
As a recap, I wanted to make some fresh tea with ingredients I already had. I chopped a small chunk of ginger (about 2 inches) and made shallow slices on it to allow it to infuse into the tea a lot faster. Next, I added one cinnamon stick and brought it to a gentle boil. I let it cool down a little before I poured into a mug. Next, I added honey to taste and squirted some lemon into it. Delicious! I made about 4 cups and had one cup. I let the remaining tea cool down before placing it into a glass jar and placing in the fridge. I let it sit for 24 hours and when I next had some, it was even more rich in flavor! (I left the ginger and cinnamon in the water).
