Memorial Day at The Meridian🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

We enjoyed a lovely event and our sweet guests last Thursday! Our garden party turned out great and we appreciate all of our partners that assisted us in pulling it off! Enhabit Home Health-gardening fun),EmpowerMe Rehab (open gym and fun tests),Trilogy Home Health (pet therapy), Empath Hospice (laugh therapy sessions 🤣) and of course resources from our Alzheimer’s Association.

Thank you to our team for all of their efforts in making this a success as well.

We’ve had a fun day today in our memory care neighborhood …noodle ball, outdoor fun and special family visits always make for a happy day! 🥰

We tried a new hands on activity for art on Friday. It was a success 🥰 🎨

Lauren and I got to go visit one of our residents as well as friends in the rehabilitation facilities nearby on Wednesday. It was National Chocolate Chip Day, so we delivered cookies and put smiles on all their faces in our milk and cookie costume 😂 🍪 🥛
Other team members visited some of our friends at the chamber and senior helpers in their “Cookie Dealer” shirts!

Our memory care neighborhood took a trip to Mexico on Thursday for our monthly dinner club celebration! We had a fiesta with delicious Mexican dishes and music! 🥰🎉🎉

Our monthly dinner club took us to Mexico on Thursday! We enjoyed a Mexican fiesta and some very tasty dishes. Everyone chose between a steak fajita or fish tacos with rice and beans as side dishes, a beef empanadas for the appetizers and best of all- sopapillas for dessert! 😋🥰

It was a Happy Mother’s Day at The Meridian this weekend! So many visitors and beautiful mothers to celebrate! 🥰🌸🌷🎉💐🎊
