I've been posting some tid bits of information from my walks for a few days now. I decided ( due the the encouragement from a friend) to make a blog of them instead.

September 25, 2024 I was out walking this morning and this beautiful Cottonwood leaf fell at my feet. So of course I picked it up. Nature is so awesome. Always there to ground, nurture and support us. She is also not one to hold her tongue or to step back and allow us to ignore all of her signs and messages. One way o...

So many fun things from my walk today -
First it was raining - well, drizzling is more like it, lol. I walked anyway - it's a perfect fall day. The colors of the changing leaves, fall flowers, berries on the Barberry bush, Dandelion and Dandelion seeds, rocks and the beautiful but pain in the butt Poke w**d. 😁
It was so peaceful out, a little chilly (not chilly enough to wear a sweatshirt yet though, lol), tons of fallen leaves and it smelled just like fall.
I kind of felt like a kid in a candy store today, or a squirrel - lol, it was like every step I took - oh look at those leaves, stop - flowers, omgosh - dandelions, oh, that rock is staring me down. 🤣🤣
So of course, I took photos, and picked up the rocks.
Now, there is a lot, but here is what all of these things symbolize:
Drizzle/Rain - Renewal and rebirth
Dandelion/Dandelion seeds - Hope, healing, reslilence and strength
Barberry - Inner strength, resilience
Mums -Joy, life, friendship, luck - AND - rebirth
Falling Leaves - Renewal, change, transformation
Autumn - Endurance, perserverance, letting go, rebirth
Diorite - Helps to calm and relax - and it is said to be useful when you want to avoid making careless mistakes in your work and in your life.
Quartzite - New beginnings, calming, balancing during life transitions
Chert - Protection and healing
Poke W**d - I could not find anything on what this plant represents spiritually, but I did come across some interesting facts about it - it's poisonous to humans, dogs and livestock( well most mammals) - all parts of it - but it is very beneficial to wildlife - birds, squirrels, deer, fox, etc. I has been and can be used medicinally ( but don't mess with it at home) - Currently it is being researched as a treatment for cancer - and it was used to break hexes and exorcise spirits/demons from a space , pokew**d purges evil or unwanted influences. The "ink" from the crushed berries is often used in hex breaking and can also serve as a substiture for blood (depending on the spell) -
I will say -I will be digging up all of the poke w**d I see around - it comes up fast and EVERYWHERE - it's a pain - even though it's beautiful. The wildlife around here have enough to eat - so I don't need this stuff taking over everything.
Interesting stuff-
I really enjoy being out in nature. I don't expect to come up with so many things on my short walks, but when I do, I feel like (and I know I've said it before) there is a reason - or more like a push or a nudge, lol

This morning on my walk, I noticed a Robin's nest in one of our trees. Small and sturdy, so of course I had to look it up.

This is what I found out that Robin nests represent:

A Robins nest is renewal, hope, transformation and new beginnings.

I said yesterday ( I think) that there seems to be similarities in the specific things I am noticing.

I'm really loving my walks and my little messages. I feel I am on the right track with my business, learning and goals.

Next time you're enjoying some time in nature, pay attention to what you "notice" - take a photo, write it down, journal about it and see what your learn. Maybe you're on the right path, maybe you are getting messages to make changes, maybe they are messages from loved ones.

I am sure you can and will learn a lot. You just have to notice. 🙂😉

I had the hot Himalayan stone massage today and and it makes a huge difference. I am a mess, seriously between the fibromyalgia, arthritis and stenosis, but Amber was able to make a big difference.

So this morning out on my walk I came across this cute little guy.

He was camera shy so I wasn't able to get a really good photo. When I got close enough he would hop away, lol.

So toads represent inner strength, new beginnings, good luck, positivity, and protection.

I've noticed quite a few similarities in things I'm seeing and finding lately.

It's really interesting what you learn just by paying attention.

Go out and spend a little time in nature, paying attention to everything that surrounds you. 🙂🙂🙂

So, found some really beautiful fallen leaves this morning out on my walk. 2 nearly perfect Maple leaves and 3 nearly perfect Catalpa leaves.

So you know me, I had to look up their meanings.

CATALPA LEAF: Peace and Resilience, Plus 😁😁, they help us connect with all varieties of unseen allies...this includes, deities, fairies, angels and ancestors. ( How Awesome!)

MAPLE LEAF: Unity, peace, quiet transformation, connection between God's and humans, dignity, respect, protection, love, strength, connection to earth, and it's a tree of protection against negative energies and malevolent spirits and also represents wisdom, knowledge and spiritual guidance. (😮)

Impressive. Remember, there is always a reason you're drawn to something. When you are, take a minute to understand.

Do a little bit of research, you may find the meaning explains a lot of what is going on, or gives a message you need to hear.

So this morning when I was out walking, I noticed something a little unusual. Our Forsythia bush had flowers on it.

No I know that it blooms in spring so of course I had to look up what the Forsythia means:

Forsythia symbolizes: Anticipation ( and the arrival of spring), the flowers symbolize joy, positivity, and renewing energy (of the spring season).

I think this is a reminder. When we are working on ourselves, I mean seriously doing the work, we go through A LOT! I

I think it's a reminder to anticipate the joy, positivity and renewed energy that comes from working on improving our whole selves.

On my walk this morning, I came across this single Chicory flower coming up through dirt and asphalt(of course I had to take a photo, because, well, I'm kind of a picture fanatic, lol). Any way, the first thought that came to mind was "perseverance".

When I came in from my walk I decided to look up Chicory symbolism and guess what? - the first word I see is.....you guessed it, perseverance.

It also symbolizes magic, having evil averting forces which means it's intended to turn away harm or evil influences.

So, for today I say to you PERSEVERE, you got this, you can get through anything (if this little w**d can make it through asphalt, well really do I need to say more?) and the next time you see this beautiful "w**d", don't pull them out or kill them, remember, they are protection, they are there to keep away harmful and evil influences. 😉

So out walking this morning, I kept seeing this little stone. Every time I passed it I had the urged to pick it up, but I ignored the thoughts and coaxing. Finally on my way back in, I was still so drawn to this stone that I went back and picked it up.

It's just a small piece of Limestone......see what I did there? I discredited its significance by saying "just". -- this got me thinking.

Why do we do this? Why do we ignore our intuition, nagging, piercing thoughts and callings? Why do we ignore and fight the urge to pick up a stone, feather or leaf dismissing them as insignificant? Why do we minimize the importance and value of small things?

I'm glad I went back to pick up this stone and here is what I discovered:

Limestone is a sign of protection, strength and resilience. (People used to use Limestone to build structures protecting them from intruders). Limestone grounds, centers, used to enhance healing properties, encourage purification and reminds us of our innocence. Limestone is beneficial for overall health and well-being.

WOW...right? I would not have known any of this had I not listened to those messages telling me to pick it up.

So here is my suggestion to you - pay attention to those little nagging, piercing voices and urges. There is a reason you notice certain things at specific times and if you listen, you may come to realize those reasons and learn something new. 😁😁

I went for a short walk this morning and this little guy was out just observing his surroundings and taking it all in. He wasn't even bothered by me stopping to take his picture.

Chipmunks represent balance; balance work and play.

Make sure to take some time everyday just for you. Time to just enjoy and breathe.

You're worth it! 😉
