Our Story
Hello All!
I wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself and tell you about our amazing business, Jessica Moore Bookkeeping.
To begin with I am Jessica Moore. I am a Momtrepreneur, aka, I am a Stay at Home Mom and a Business Owner. I grew up in a small town in the West Texas South Plains. Growing up my parents worked as house parents at a children's home in the area. This means I grew up with many unique opportunities afforded me, but the one that is prevalent to this situation was an opportunity to work starting at a young age. I was also home-schooled, which further opened the door to learn the importance of hard work.
From about the age of 11 or 12 until I graduated high school, I worked in the children’s home’s front office as an office aide. I was expected to answer phone, sort and deliver mail, organize files, send out weekly reports and reminders to the various departments, process paperwork, and keep my area and supervisors areas clean and organized. All of this experience gave me a love for office work, so naturally I studied business in college. I would love to say that I competed college and got my degree however I did not escape the student loan crisis. With $25,000.00 in loans and at least one more semester to go I simply could not afford to continue. Plus God had other plans for my life.
