Ordered from Pontiac Paint Supply for the first time. Extremely well packed, handwritten thank you, and a free spout. Talk about making a first impression! Centurion is lucky to have a distributor like Pontiac.

1960s ranch home renovation and our customer wanted to reuse the original baseboard vents that looked nasty and were painted closed. We media blasted the 8 layers of old paint off and powdercoated them matte white. They look great and are now fully functional. Call us to talk about sprucing up any old metal items in your renovation projects. (Zoom in to see how nasty the original looked)
This is what having a badass neighbor looks like. Billy Lane is a legend, Dad, and all-around great guy. Gonna miss you brother but I bet you’ll visit Columbia often. Safe travels! .inc
Two-tone Bunting basket weave chairs in Sea Foam Green and Traffic White with semi—gloss clear to keep them looking oldish and not bling. It’s what we do for our favorite bookeeper (and co-owner) 😎
Before and after pics of a pair of 1950s-60s Shott metal chairs. Lots of childhood memories that our customer will relive now that the chairs are restored and on the porch of her sheshed. We disassembled them, did a few repairs, media blasted, epoxy powder primed, powder topcoated in Flame Red and Super Mirror White, then reassembled using new stainless steel period correct slotted screws and square nuts.
If you’re restoring an old car undoubtedly you’ll encounter rusted seat frames and springs. In an effort to save a few bucks you might try to wire wheel the rust off, and rattle can (or legit spray gun) them with primer or buy replacement seat frames if you can find them. My suggestion: find a good powdercoat shop in your area to media blast and prime your seat frames. Nothing wraps around all those springs and crevices like powdercoat. The money you spend on powdercoating vs the hours of time to wire wheel (you still won’t be able to get to all the areas) and paint will be worth it. This has been an unpaid public service announcement from the powdercoat shop in your area 😎
1929 Crane cast iron sink in rough shape that we recently restored.
Good news alert: recently our son’s fire department rescued a kitten trapped in a drain. 😎
Been so busy at our shop that we’re way behind on posting. This 1940s medical cabinet was in great structural shape but had been repainted a few times and looked really funky. We blasted it to clean metal, epoxy powder primed, and powder topcoated in Surf Green. What an amazing piece of furniture!
One of the most well- preserved old patio chairs we’ve ever seen. Now finished in Ruby Red and Super Mirror White.
At Metal Revival we take safety seriously and always recommend high visibility wheels. Fluorescent Yellows for our buddy
Testing the new fire suppression system in our powdercoat booth. For the test they use a tank of compressed air (instead of dry chemical) and put balloons over the nozzles. When the system activates it will shoot dry chemical and also kill the fan motors.
Slo-mo of the pulse jets cleaning our powdercoat booth filters.
A clean compressor is a happy compressor. Second only to our extremely cute bookkeeper, this girl is the lifeblood of our shop. Air to spare thanks to the 25hp 3-phase Gardner-Denver workhorse.
We media blasted and powdercoated 5 wheels for this ‘31 Model A transformation.

We started a separate Instagram account for selling our Salterini restored furniture.
Just acquired a set of Salterini end tables in the Palm Springs pattern. These aren’t in the 1947 Salterini catalog and may be a few years newer. It’s unusual to see the “Salterini Neva-Rust” badge intact as 99.5% of the time the aluminum badge is long gone due to handling or repaints. The Neva-Rust process was a dip galvanizing that prevented rust. When we media blast Salterini for restoration we make every effort to leave that thin layer of galvanizing intact. We’ll be restoring these and offering them for sale. The glass tops are included.

It’s always interesting to see how many layers of paint are on the Salterini furniture we restore. Like rings on a tree they tell a story. We’ll be posting many restored genuine Salterini sets and single items for sale in the coming weeks.
