Iowa High School Selects Rugby

Some Selects put a team together last week for the Iowa Irishfest Rugby Tournament and came out on top! It was awesome to walk over and hear the terminology and IQ chatter that we've been working on since tryouts! Well done fellas! That's a wrap for Selects this year. Stay tuned for announcements! There will be some changes and some more opportunities!

Congratulations to Hunter on his next journey!!

First off, thank you all for representing your community, club, and state with pride! It says a lot about your character when we receive compliment after compliment about how you conduct yourself. That to me is the biggest win of the tour. Well done! As for the rugby I enjoyed every person that was selected and who showed up! It's was fun watching you guys develop so fast in that atmosphere and goes to show you what a high performance environment can do for you as a player and a person. To go 10-1 between 2 teams at that tournament is an accomplishment and put everyone on notice that we can play high pace rugby! Thank you for letting me show you that side of rugby and getting to coach and know you all for a little while.
