One of the few things I loved about the winter up north were those feel good, hearty and homemade recipes 🍲 that came along with the season…Chilli, Chicken and Shrimp Corn Chowder, Japanese Curry, Oxtail Stew, the list goes on and on.

I remember the winter one of my dearest friends experienced authentic NOLA Gumbo for the 1st time! We still daydream about that mouth watering 🤤 experience. Shoutout to the FL based and Classically French 🇫🇷 Trained Chef that prepared that delectable meal for us! 🍍BT Chef what are you serving 🍽up this winter? You know I love to eat and always hungry for some new flavors!

Although sometimes it stings, standing right on the ground of history is pretty breathtaking. The Sunshine☀️State is known for its constant warm weather, beautiful beaches, and thrilling attractions but it also has a very rich history. My family and I had the opportunity to visit St. Augustine and we found some pretty remarkable treasures on our trip. Whether it is his-story or her-story, at the end of the day it’s our story; a large piece of the history of how we became and who we are today is right in my backyard! Happy Birthday MLK Jr.!
