Our sessions are FUN. Ok, we do have to get some work done, what therapist doesn't...BUT we promise that we will play hard and go the extra mile to make your child feel comfortable and supported while learning to thrive!
Our therapists are overseen by our two administrators with over 35 years of combined experience! You can trust that the job will be done compassionately and ethically.

It's almost Friday and we have some big new to share!

We are thrilled to announce a new addition to the Maryland Behavioral Specialists Team.

Ashley Shilow has known Julie and Julia (CEO and VP) for over a decade and now that Julia is in Maryland we can now FINALLY join forces and continue spreading the compassionate ABA that all children deserve.

Ashley has been a BCBA for 7.5 years and has been in the field of ABA since 2010. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Florida Atlantic University. She then continued her education and recieved a Masters of Science with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. Ashley has had the pleasure of working in all different settings, lived and practiced in Maryland, DC and North Carolina.

"Being with Maryland Behavioral Specialists feels like coming home. I am incredibly excited to be around like-minded individuals who I can trust to uphold my high ethical standards. I know that this company cares about both their clients and employees, which makes all the difference. I can't wait to start!"

Ashley will be coming into the company as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst as well as our State Clinical Director.
