What an absolute privilege to discuss the significance of education and kindness with this remarkable organization. Keys to Kindness is an amazing camp that teaches the value of kindness regardless of individual challenges. I love the buddy system that gives high school students an opportunity to volunteer.

Thank you Jen Bravo and Laura Meehan for hosting a great event last night at the Corner Club. I was so incredibly touched by the people who came to support me. It has been such a challenging few weeks, but my love for our children and community provides me the energy and resilience to follow my passion in continuing to make a difference.

Today I attended the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony. It was an impactful event with so many local and state officials. Thank you to Blake High School ROTC and Orange Grove Middle School students for being such a special part of this ceremony.

There's nothing like having support from former Student Government President Chase Hartman and former Class President Danielle Musry! They are both from a local high school in District 1.

It's heartwarming to see students at their age recognizing my work and it reminds me of my why!!

Tonight's Gentleman's Quest Awards Gala was incredibly moving. Thank you to Tavis Myrick and team for fostering a commitment to education and community service through their organization. Congratulations to the Sickles High School graduates. It's always special to attend graduations and witness the excitement as these young people embark on their journeys. Thank you to the administrators, teachers, staff, family, and friends who supported and attended tonight.

Congratulations to the graduating class of Leto High School! I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this memorable event. Thank you to all the devoted educators, staff, parents, and friends who have helped shape these graduates for their future paths.

I just renewed my teaching and administration certifications. Being a lifelong educator has always been my priority. This isn’t a part-time job. Since 1993 I have committed my life to making a difference with students. We need someone on the school board who prioritizes students and not politics.

Graduations started today at the Fair Grounds. As a board member, I treasure this time of year, honoring all the graduates. The speeches, student excitement, family celebrations, and being surrounded by outstanding teachers and staff make it an unforgettable experience. Congratulations to our Adult Schools, Technical Colleges, Career Centers, and Hillsborough Virtual K-12!

Congratulations to our Wrestling and Spring Sports Awards athletes. It is always such an honor to attend these special events.
